I have been going to Master Tailor now for many years...ever since they opened! Prior to going to Master Tailor, I had tried several other tailor shops around town as well as 2 seamstresses that did alterations out of their homes. (I get almost everything I purchase altered as I like my clothes very fitted....so I have alot of experience with alterations.) I originally went to Master Tailor as I wasn't completely satisfied with the work done at other shops, and Master Tailor had just opened up near my home. From my very first experience at Master Tailor, I knew I would never go anywhere else. Anna ( the owner) is a perfectionist who truly cares that your items are altered the correct way. I have never, ever been disappointed with the work done at Master Tailor and I have taken everything from leather jackets, lined suits, pajamas, heavy winter coats, sequined gowns, bathing suits, jeans, decorative pillows...you name it, I've taken it there! When I get my items back, I can never tell that they have been altered. If you want your items altered the right way the first time, take them to Master Tailor!!

I would NEVER recommend Master Tailor to anyone. I had a terrible experience. The lady who did my fitting in a round about way called me fat because my dress needed taken out in the bust area. She told me, and I quote, "if the wedding wasn't in two weeks I'd tell you to go workout. But two weeks isn't enough time for you to workout." Then when I went to pick my dress up after it had been altered she proceeded to tell me, "I have to do maximum take out here, here and here." They also charge a RIDICULOUS amount.

It looked TERRIBLE! I had torn my new black shorts and asked if they could fix them but when I got them back they had a white stripe down where the tear was and they didn’t even fix the other tear!!

I've been using Master Tailor for at least 20 years and since before Jorge had gray hair! :) He is amazing and so is his staff. They have fair prices, their work is the best I've ever seen and they complete tailoring in a timely manner. I wouldn't think of using anyone else!

Bad experience all around. She was rude to me when I requested a refund. She didn’t listen when I showed her what needed to be taken in. Thus, we were unhappy with overall look arrears. She does not refund the tax that is paid.

First of all, he charged me $80ish for tapering two pants. Let me repeat two pants. The night before my flight to a wedding in Los Angeles, I see that the inner thigh of one of the pants has a huge gaping hole. In LA, I frantically look for hours for a tailor and then pay exactly $80 for fixing the pants (meaning he is charging me the price of a tailor in LA). After the wedding, I come back and ask him about it and he won't believe me. I show him the timestamp of the photos I took and he still can't believe me. He keeps telling me how that it is not possible that could happen and proceeds to insinuate that I caused the gaping hole (yes, because that is exactly what I would do to a suit that I just bought). So I try to reason with him on another coat I have which is an even easier job than my pants he managed to mess up. His offer to me is to do away with the $15 rush fee but charge me $120 ($40 more than I paid last time on two different pants). He completely disregards the time and money I wasted looking for someone to fix the pants the way he should have in the beginning (not to mention the stress he put me through). I will make sure to never give him any of my business or that of my Fort Worth friends. He overcharges for everything and all you get in return is a gaping hole on the side of your pants before your best friend's wedding. Thanks for nothing!

I have been going to master tailor for years. I take all of my daughters and my cosplays there to be fixed and or adjusted and I love their work. I had to have my princess Belle's dress altered and I had a convention coming up so she stayed late (after midnight) multiple days to get it done in time. When my daughters prom dress came in late (4 days before the prom) and it was completely see through she helped us by installing slips and a false front lining in the bust area! I have seen some of these others peoples complaints but I have never had a problem. She wants you to try on everything after the work is done to make sure it is correct and if they had done like she asked any problems would have been noticed (open seams, etc). She tries very hard to supply superior craftsmanship to everyone and occasionally things do happen so if you let her know (she does have another that helps her out in the store occasionally) she will correct it right away as you wait if not too major. She has never charged me a ridiculous amount, even working on some of my cosplays like the Belle dress and the only time she has made suggestions about working out is when she knows that given the material and time involved with something would be quite expensive when compared to a little effort in the gym. I bet if you looked up those who gave a poor review of this wonderful place are impossible to please and never give good reviews of anyplace they visit always finding problems wherever they go!

Worst experience. Rented a tux for my son from this place because this is where the party had reservations. First of all, the price was very high (190.00). My son was fitted for his tuxedo about 2 weeks prior to our event. We were told that we needed to pick up on the Thursday before the event. The Thursday that it needed to be picked up a bad storm hit. I called the company and it seemed as if they were too busy to help and were preoccupied. I told them that I would run late to pick up the tuxedo. They had a very hard time finding my order and asked me to call back with my receipt so they could find it. I then called back and it went to vm about 8 times. When I was finally able to speak with someone they said that it was not there and would not be there til the next day due to the storm. I said ok and that I would be there early the next day. On Friday I went to pick up the tuxedo and the gentleman said it was not there and would not be there til about 12:30 or 2pm. I never received a phone call that the tuxedo was not there and I should come later. I told them that I would not be able to come back due to other appointments and asked if it would be ok if I had someone else pick it up. He said yes and that he really wanted a final fitting. I said ok and we left. My brother picked up the tuxedo and through a miscommunication, we were too late for a final fitting. When it was time for the event, the arms on the shirt were way too long and silly looking. The jacket was big in the shoulders and long on the arms. To top it all off, the soles of the shoes came off. We had to use our own tuxedo jacket (I did not use mine because it was not what the party ordered) and my son wore boots with his tuxedo. When I returned the tuxedo, I explained to the owner our situation. Right away, he tried to put it all on me and said that I should've went in for a final fitting. Yes we should have gone but what could they have done on a Saturday morning of the event. They also should have had it on Friday for us to have a fitting when we went in. He did refund me for my shoes and then said I added 10. if this helps you. This was really offensive because it was not about the extra 10. It was about renting and paying for a product that I could not even use. I left very upset and contemplated writing a review. I was going to just suck it up and not go back. Later in the afternoon my mother in law called me and said that she returned my brother in laws tuxedo and the owner apol!ogized and said he did not know what went wrong with my order and put all of the blame on me. He obviously did not know we were related. When she became defensive and started defending me, some customers walked in and he changed the subject. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!! Add to list Edit

I never give reviews but this really upset me. My experience here was more than disappointing. I worked with the owner he acted like it was an inconvenience asking him to alter my bridesmaid's dress. He was rude and very short, did not conversate with me at all. Way over priced!! For him to hem the bottom of my dress and adjust straps it was over $100 (I basically bought 2 of the same dress). I felt rushed from the moment I walked into the building till I walked out after paying for the dress (Total of 8mins). After picking up my dress, going home to try it on. My dress did not fit correctly and had to bring it to a different place to fix it. I learned a hard lesson and will be taking my business else where from now on.

I had been using a different tailor in town and wasn’t satisfied. I looked up Master Tailor and decided to give them a try. I’m very glad I did! Byron has done a phenomenal job tailoring my suits. I’ve taken in suits that are “boxy” and fit very loose and asked him to slim them up. Honestly, I was shocked when I picked up my first suit and the amazing job he did. Not only is he good at his craft, but he provides great customer service. I highly recommend Master Tailor.

Do NOT go to. Terrible service. I had a bridesmaid dress done there and she didn't do one of the two layers on the dress. When I took it back there to show her she wouldn't do anything and told me I had to have the shoes I wore on the day to the wedding to prove to her that it wasn't done, when you could clearly see the 2 inches that were not touched. Extremely expensive as well. I paid 4x more than any of the other bridesmaids in the wedding to get my alterations.

They always do a really amazing job. I took several items in recently to be altered and all of them came back perfect. I even had a pair of jeans that I took in to be altered and when I got them back they had fixed hole where the fabric had frayed even though I didn’t ask them to nor did I expect them to. I have been very impressed by the work they have done with everything I’ve brought in.
