NEGATIVE STARS I told them the instructions for the alterations. They told me that they understood. I picked up the item and they did exactly opposite of what I asked. When I brought it up to them that they did it wrong, they told me that they did exactly what I wanted (lengthen the pants) and that they did not cut any fabric. Went back with proof that they screwed up and the young girl switched gears and told me that she did shorten them per my request and that she did cut them. CYA and refused to talk to me further. Terrible service and customer service is NON-EXISTENT. They do not care if they screw up b/c in the end, it is YOUR FAULT!

My daughter needed a dress altered for prom. Anna was very professional and honest with her suggestions on how to make the dress work without removing the zipper. She put a lace corset in the back, which made the dress look so much better. We needed the dress back by thursday and she was able to get it back to us by wednesday. Everybody loved the dress. I had an amazing experiance here!! I took my wedding dress here after a friend bailed out on me. The owner was GREAT! She got me in right away and was sooo helpful even suggesting ideas for my dress that I would of never even thought of! I thought it was going to be impossible to find a place who could get my dress done in such short notice! I was also shocked when I recieved the PRICE! I couldn't believe how affordable it was!! It would of cost me 4x the price at Davids Bridal and she was even 1/2 the price that my FRIEND was going to charge me and is doing MORE WORK!!!!! I just sent my bridesmaid there today and will back for ALL of my alteration and tailoring needs!! I live in Millard and this was SOOO worth the drive!!

Fast good work! I had my dress a little longer than she recommended but did what I asked anyway. Built her own business up so she can choose who to have as a customer, and others shouldn't be so rude and look down on her for her accent or whatever.

Easy to work with, and a quick consultation to determine what needed to be done. The bridesmaid dress I took in looks and fits great now. My only complaint is the location, as you most likely will have to park and walk at least a block or so, which was awkward while carying large, hanging garments.

Extremely unprofessional. Kept her personal phone conversation going throughout the entire encounter. They have shop cats that jump up and walk on everything. I did not leave my clothes there for alterations.

I have been to Fast Alterations & Tailoring on multiple occasions. I wasn't quite sure what to expect the first time I went there. The facade is nothing fancy and inside isn't much better. They even have a small pet dog running around back. Admittedly, I was a bit turned off when they requested 1/2 of the payment up front. But since picking up my first altered bridesmaid dress, I have been a loyal customer. They have altered two bridesmaids dresses for me, my rehearsal dinner dress for my own wedding, as well as a few casual dresses, and fixed the zipper on my winter coat. Each piece has needed different alterations, and they have gone above and beyond my expectations every time. Prices are more reasonable than anywhere else in town and turn around is quick! I usually don't have a specific deadline to need an item back, but they're always done within 3-4 days. I highly recommend Fast Alterations & Tailoring.

She does quality work, at competitive prices, with a fast turnaround. While other reviews have touched on it, she's not the warmest person, but I wouldn't call her unfriendly. If you want competitively priced, quality work then come here. If you also need your tailor to rub your back and tell you how special you are, go somewhere else.

Wow. I called and the person who answered (Ana the owner I later learned) answered the phone with an angered HELLO?!?! I explained that I had never used a tailor before and that I found her website that indicated there was a 48 hour turnaround. She replied angrily, "what is it that you need"?! I replied astonished, I'm just searching for a tailor who can give me some information about tailoring. She replied "Well, I can't help you if you don't tell me what you need." I explained that I wanted to do business somewhere that wanted to be helpful and polite. Then to my astonishment she said, "YOU are very rude!!!" I want your business but do not want to talk to you!!! This the VERY FIRST online review I have ever written but could not believe how RUDE SHE WAS!!! Wow…

By far the best shop in town. I would recommend anyone that needs any sewing done to go to this shop. The service was quick and easy. They were generous with me and had my wedding wedding dress looking flawless. BY FAR THE BEST SHOP IN OMAHA NEBRASKA. The lady at the front desk notified me when the dress was done. I am so glad to have went to this shop because the people there honestly made my wedding. And not to mention that the people there were totaled sweet hearts and they will get the job done correctly. Inexpensive, very quick, and excellent work. I've taken about seven shirts here to be tapered and they all look great with professional stitching. The negative reviews I've read were from people that called, but never took their clothes here and were upset about the phone call. They are always really friendly to me.

I HIGHLY recommend Fast Alterations! I had my wedding dress altered there and paid a fraction of what I would have had to pay at a bridal store and at least half of what I was first quoted telephonically from another alteration business. I was not in a hurry but I still had my dress back within a week. Ana did a wonderful job! I will definitely be contacting her again whenever me or my family and friends need any alterations...including bridesmaids dresses and flower girl dresses. Thanks, Ana!

Wow! I am so impressed with this tailor. I don't recall the owner's name, but she does excellent work. She is also very fun to talk to. I took in two pairs of dress pants and a pair of jeans and she had them back to me within a few days. I could not believe that my hemmed jeans looked just like the original. The prices are very reasonable. This will be my go-to for all things that need to be altered or tailored.

I do not like the work that was done. I went there to have a hole in a sleeve sewed.The hole looks like there is glue on it, it's hard & the color is off.

If you have looked for a tailor in Omaha you know it is hard to find a good one. It’s even harder to find one with reasonable prices. This shop however is awesome. She is reasonable and experienced and the turnaround time is great. I would highly recommend her

I needed to have patches sewn on my son's boy scout shirt. Although the price is a bit high at $5 per patch, the transaction was pleasant enough. However, it was all for nothing as they are closed when I needed to pick them up. Sign on door says they close at 4:00, but I was going by their website which said 6:00. Although, this is likely a case where they didn't update their website, it ended up a critical failure. Update: I had called and left a message explaining urgency. They called back fairly quickly to allow me to come and pick up the shirts. This is a huge customer service +1! Have to say, this place is really good. Now please update your website : )
