He remembered me and showed exceptional hospitality and friendliness. His daughter was awesome! I don't like to shop but she helped me find a perfect suit right away with a great fit. She educated me on the different wool blends and gave me a great tip on how to pack a suit and remove wrinkles while traveling. Such a great family business!

He always gave me an honest opinion on how something looked off the rack, and how he could tailor it to make it look even better. He asked whether it was more casual or formal events, everyday wear or just occasional. Was very interested in hearing my side of the story. I found a shirt that was far too baggy, but was the only size he had left. He said, "no worries, you're the boss...I make you look good" and he did just that. The shirt was incredible after he fixed it up. All that and tailoring for free? I'll never go anywhere else.

The suits seem like good quality suits, but the fitting/service was lacking. A few of the items I asked for when getting my suit tailored they said were unnecessary so they did not get done and I had a somewhat ill-fitted suit for my friend's wedding. Also, the alterations take very long for the few items that they were altering.

I really want to like this place, but I did not have a very good first experience. I bought pants and a shirt as a part of a wedding party and I asked if I could get the pants and shirt in a "slim" fit. They said they could tailor the pants for an additional fee of $45. The lady made me feel stupid for how slim I wanted them, but said she would make them as slim as the fabric would allow. I went back in and was told by someone else that they have slim fit shirts. So I traded my shirt in and was happy. I went in a third time to get my pants, and then they told me they had slim fit pants. I asked to trade for those, but they said no since they had already tailored my regular fit pants. I don't understand why they just didn't sell me the slim fit pants and shirt from the beginning and not charge me for tailoring? Emsud himself is good guy, but I just didn't like they way they handled my situation.

We have been to Emsud's Clothiers to purchase a suit for my Fiance for our wedding. We ended up purchasing two full suits with vests, tie, shirt, two pairs of shoes and a dress coat due to the amazing sale and quality of the clothing. The suits were $250 with tailoring and absolutely fabulous. Alma also helped us pick out the perfect match shirt and tie for the wedding to match the suit. We were really impressed with the workmanship and professionalism of Emsud and his family. Will definitely shop there again soon.

Took my son in to get a suit for an upcoming formal. Couldn’t have been happier with our experience. We where there less than an hour to get everything done and he will be able to pick it up in a week after the alterations are complete. Very reasonably priced as well. They asked what we was needing the suit for and what price range we was wanting to be in. After we was done with everything they asked us how we heard about them. Told them that a friend recommended us. He gave me a free pair of socks to give to him and also gave my younger son a free pair of socks. Emsud's is a great example of customer service. They have middle of the road pricing, nothing insane, but it's not the discount method like JC Penny's prices. They really service their customers and care about the relationship. He often gives away free socks and tie's to people who buy suits, and the more you go the more discounts he will add. I have had three pair of pants tailored here, and I have purchased a suit.

I needed to change my 2 month old and they didn't have a changing table in their bathroom, the woman told me to find a spot anywhere and then pointed out a bench and told me it was comfy and I could lay her there! My husband and I were blown away by the customer service and personal care that we received at Emsud's! Alma helped us find the perfect suit for him to wear at our wedding (see picture) and offered excellent advice regarding tie colors and little details that we had questions about. It was very easy for our wedding party to make contact and pick up their suits when needed. Emsud's went above and beyond what we originally asked. 2 days before our wedding, my dress had complications. I originally called Alma to ask who she would recommend to help, but she ended up having me bring it in so that her mom could personally help. I first called Emsuds on Saturday and asked when I'd be able to come in with my groomsmen. Someone else answered the phone letting me know they didn't know when they would be available and handed the phone to Alma. Alma didn't even say hello, however, I could hear her conversation with another customer. 5 minutes later, she answered 'Hello, how can I help you?' and did not even apologize for making me wait. As a professional in hospitality, she should have answered right away 'Hello, I apologize, I have someone in front of me, May you please hold?' and I would have of course held on. Then, we come in and she made me and my fiance sit down and go over the 'rules and regulations' of working with her at Emsuds. I let her know right away that I did NOT need to know these because we were JUST LOOKING. As we were sitting down, multiple people came up to her wanting her attention and of course, she got up to deal with the other customers instead of stating she was in the middle with us. She made us feel EXTREMELY unwelcome and unwanted. I, then, got up to look at their selection just to see if this was anything we would even want. After she came back from dealing with her other customers she stated 'please sit back down and let me finish my schpeal.' I let her know I did not have time and to please show me her selection. Their lightest grey suit that they had was a dark charcoal and not what I was looking for so I let her know. She insisted she continued to go over her rules, and insisted upon still measuring my groomsmen. This was absolutely ridiculous knowing we were not going to go with them- I felt as though she just was trying to be dominant. You should never sit someone down telling them the 'regulations' before even seeing the product, expecially if your customer lets you know they just wanted to look first to see if it's even something they're interested in. Does anyone go into a car dealership going over a contract before even seeing the cars? I was SO FRUSTRATED with her. She made sure to let me know that she 'won the best choice for tux shop in The Knot and there was a reason' multiple times. She may be organized but NOT hospitable what so ever. Would never recommend.
