Val has completed alterations that include hemming pants, altering summer dresses, repairing pockets of vests, altering skirts, repairing skirts, replacing zippers, need I go on? I highly recommend this great local business! I have a ski jacket with a zipper which has never worked right. I brought it to Missoula Tailoring to see if they could install a better zipper. The owner had a really sturdy zipper in stock which she flawlessly sewed on my jacket. Now, the new zipper works perfectly & I have my favorite jacket back. She even took the extra step of removing a strip of unnecessary fabric which kept getting stuck in the old zipper. Finally, she got the jacket done earlier than she originally planned so she called me to let me know. I will be back with other projects because her work was just perfect!

I'm in the Army and took my ASU's in here to get my new rank sewn on. The lady was very nice but when I got my uniform back, there was a little hole where the old rank was. I wont be able to get it fixed because it'll be more noticeable to sew the hole than to leave it. I'll have to purchase a new jacket putting me out some $$$ and probably wont be going back here soon.

She was very nice and seemed very confident in her services but she hemmed my skirt too short and left it uneven as well. The right side is higher than the left and the back is an inch higher than the front. I wanted it just touching the ground but you can see both of my feet completely. I doubt it was intentional, it’s just really unfortunate.

I have a long gentleman's coat I inherited from a deceased family member. It was made it Poland. She has hemmed the original interior lining twice for me now at unbelievably affordable prices. I can't believe how little she charges! And her work is phenomenal. I have returned many times to have articles of clothing custom fitted.This other user slamming her is using a load of red herrings in his/her complaint. If language was a barrier, don't leave your too-expensive suit with them. If family members working there is an issue, do-not-leave-your-pricey-blazer with them! If you have special requests, wouldn't you speak directly to the tailor and not the desk clerk? A lot of small businesses don't accept credit cards and for good reason. Go back to shopping at Nordstrom you whiner, and quit bashing on an affordable family business barely getting by. I find it fitting that you 'fixed' your issue at a tailor business with a name based on the most superficial industry to ever come into existence.

Ms. Voskoboinikova is the owner of Missoula Tailoring Services and is a fantastic tailor! We needed five suits tailored quickly and accurately after an online ordering mishap and she jumped right on it and fitted them to perfection. Ignore the single "1 star" review on here, it's completely false garbage. Ms. V speaks excellent English and has never made a mistake on the 10+ garments I've had altered here. I recommend everyone I know to her.

I went to Missoula Tailoring Services against friends recommendations to other seamstresses, based on the outstanding Google reviews, and an article about them in the local paper from a few years ago. I had ordered a beautiful wedding dress on Etsy and needed a few alterations done before the wedding. I appreciated that she would be able to finish it in time for the wedding, and felt confident leaving it in her hands. While marking the dress I mentioned the inner slip did not need to be shortened, only the outer lace part. When I picked up the dress, I thought the inner slip looked shortened, but reserved judgement until I tried it on. IT HAD BEEN SHORTENED DRASTICALLY! The entire dress was supposed to be floor length and she had shortened the inner slip by 5 inches!! Making my mid shin down exposed ruining the intended floor length design!! I was so frazzled that day as it were, and in shock I just paid and left, having a meltdown once I got home. Not only did she ruin the inner slip length, she had left the red markings from our measurements before, with some of it not able to come out of the strap at all... I also had to call to see if it was finished. I was incredibly disappointed with my experience here, and was sincerely looking forward to leaving a good review until all of this happened. The reason I'm giving her 2 stars instead of 1, is because even though all of this happened, she did do a great job shortening the sleeves and straps on the dress. Overall I would say don't bring things of significant importance to be tailored here. I will end this review by saying I was able to get the dress fixed at Rococo Bridal and they did an AMAZING job!
