I usually don't leave bad reviews about local businesses, but this one deserves it. I needed a pair of dress pant to be shortened. I said I needed them done by Tuesday, which gave the tailor a whole week. She said I would either get a call or text. Yeah, didn't get either. So I call three times on Wednesday and no answer. I understand she was having troubles with her phone or something. I am now a little annoyed and stressed. Luckily I didn't need the dress pants until Thursday however. So I go in to talk to her in person and she lost my pants. She finds them somewhere in the back and they are not done. She tells me to give her some time. So later that day I finally got my pants. Very inconvenient for me to have to waste time checking if my pants are done a day late and to find out they are not. Also she was sort of rude from the beginning, as she talked non stop while I stood there not responding because I was in a hurry and wanted to end the conversation. The work done was ok, not great. Overall, go somewhere else were you will not have to worry and stress.

I like the work Ella has done for me. As others have noted, she knows her craft. However, Ella is preachy, and it's a bit obnoxious. I'd rather a pleasant experience getting tailoring done rather than a lecture from a stranger. Otherwise, well meaning woman and a good tailor. Will shop around but will also probably use again.

Ella is really disorganized and talks a lot and is a very rude person...it would not be bad if her alterations were better than average, but they are just that. Got a suit tailored and it did not fit very well at all but I wore it because it was the only suit I owned at the time. Would not recommend...

Ella was fantastic! She altered a dress for me very last minute in the middle of busy season. The dress looked great, the price was fantastic, and Ella was an absolute pleasure.

Ella did a good job on the tailoring. Her work space is cluttered and she misplaced one item that was found within a day. She is a nice lady and a good seamstress, just be prepared to spend a little extra time to chat.

I've never been treated so rudely in my life. I called to see if she could alter a bridesmaids dress on rush. I realized this close to Christmas that not everyone can, so that's why I called. When I told her that it needed to be taken in a couple of sizes Ella says, "Listen, you girls need to realize that people don't know how to sew like they used to. Sewing is a lost art and they haven't sewn like that since World War II. And frankly, I don't have time do it." In shock, I replied, "Ok, I'll find someone else willing to do it." She says, "Good!" AND HANGS UP THE PHONE!!! I called back to get her name. I can't believe it's the store owner who is treating people like that. I understand if you can't or won't handle the task, but why can't you say it nicely? I have no reason to recommend her, no matter how fabulous her skills might be...

Extremely rude. Called to ask if they would do a hem job and the response I got from the owner was “good luck finding someone” in an angry tone and then she hung up on me.

Had my garment for a month, still wasn’t right. I used fishing line to jerry rig it together. This was after I was told that I was pretty much a useless generation for not being shown how to sew. At least I know how to clean up your generations messes!!!

The work done was fine. High price for the work done and took a month to alter five sets of pants. Ella herself was very rude to my wife when she went to call for the pickup and when she actually went down there on my behalf. Poor customer service slow work, go somewhere else.

Ella is an older women who is tuff and a bit ruff, but she knows her stuff and that is what matters most when you're getting alternations done. I will go back to her if I ever need to. This is a tedious job, and it takes a special person to do it! I give her credit for doing it. Thank you Ella!
