I got a good deal on a suit off the rack, but it definitely needed alterations. I chose Leonard’s based on reviews here and I’m glad I did. Went in for the fitting and came to pick it up 7 days later and I can honestly say it’s the best fitting suit I own. I will definitely be back.

I've been using Leonard and Zena for over 5 years for everything from designer runway dresses to dog collars and couch pillows. He can tailor to woman's body in his sleep, I imagine. Zena is fantastic with very difficult, detail work. He's busy and tailoring costs money so be considerate. No, it's not $5 to hem your pants like at the dry cleaner. Respect this lost craft.

I had to drive way out to find his shop but it was 100% worth it and i've found my new tailor. He's a kind, wonderful and talented man who's very good at his job and will get your order done in a timely manner for a reasonable price. Even if you need it the next day he'll stay late for you in his shop to work (say if it's a emergency adjustment for a wedding gown, or a suit for a wake), but expect to pay a more, as you would pay more for next day shipping on a package. Also when visiting a tailor, honesty is key. When he pins your garment, if it's a little loose, or a little tight, say something! He's not a mind reader. Your just wasting everyone time and money if you dont say something the first time around. He's not the type to judge and is very grandfatherly in my opinion. On a different note, there's a grocery store right across from his shop so you can get lunch or wander around the aisles if your not the one getting the tailoring done.

Leonard did a very nice job with the few items I brought in for hole repairs. It may not look like much from the outside, but it's a quaint shop inside. He's a very nice man and is personable. Prices are reasonable. He only takes cash or check. But there's an atm across the street if needed.

Leonard took in my white coat that was a couple sizes too large and it now looks like it was custom made to fit me. He is also very fast and the price was reasonable. I'll be recommending him to all my friends!

SUPERB work & service! I've had a long time tailor in Clayton who's disposition I simply could not tolerate any longer. After she was in a bad mood one day a few months ago I Googled best tailors near me & boom Leonard was open & available immediately. He was extremely welcoming, knowledgeable, patient. I wasn't use to such kind treatment. I often thrift shop and love a tailored look. After my 1st visit I was sold! I've been back several times since and can truly say I've found my perfectly professional tailor here. Leonard and his wife both create clean looks from leather to cotton in a reasonable turnaround time for a reasonable cost. I'm staying put. Highly recommend Leonard's.
