I went to Irina's because she had the best reviews in the area and I was not disappointed. I had a last minute bridesmaids dress to be hemmed and have cups sewn in. I called (nervous that the timeline was too tight) but she scheduled me right away and I had my dress back very quickly and it looks amazing. I'm very pleased and plan to use her again. Irina was really kind, easy to work with, and made me feel comfortable, all while wearing a very low cut, form fitting dress. I couldn't recommend her enough.

I ordered my wedding dress from a boutique in California and needed it to be let out from the waist down as well as a hem. Irina did such a wonderful job. She was so nice to work with, quick to respond to my emails, and she did the alterations quickly as well. She made sure that every thing was perfect on the dress before I left the shop. I would definitely recommend her to anyone that needs alterations for anything. The price was also very reasonable. A couple other places tried to over charge me just because it was a wedding dress.

Irina’s expertise put me at ease and I had complete confidence in her ability to alter an outfit for my son’s wedding. Scheduling an appointment on the phone was effortless. We did need to reschedule the final fitting, but Irina texted in advance to let me know and was extremely flexible in changing the time. Irina was so sweet! I had to order my wedding dress while only being a few weeks postpartum, so when it finally came, it was HUGE because I had lost more weight. It also arrived two weeks late, so I only had 3 weeks to get it altered before my wedding! I contacted Irina’s Tailor Shop and Irina told me to come in and she’d see what she could do. She was able to alter my wedding dress PERFECTLY with only one alteration appointment! And had it done in two weeks! She did a great job and I am so glad my husband recommended her! I stopped in unannounced to have (2) pair of dress pants repaired, one a broken zipper and the other had a leg hem that was never done from the manufacturer. The pants only cost $35 new and the new zipper and labor $20 made that project go away. The second pair of pants Irina looked at them and said wait a minute as she hurried off around the bend and into her shop area, not more than 2 minuets later she came back and gave them back saying no charge! I offered her some money several times and she refused, what a charming individual, thank you!

I would not recommend getting your alterations done by Irina. She is the only one working and she is very behind on her jobs. She was unable to get my pants done by the date I said I needed it by. I could not have been more polite when I called to ask about it, but she was very rude and said “Why are you calling me, I will call when it is ready. Have I called you yet? Then it’s not done.” She had a similar attitude each time I spoke with her, and she was the one who was late lol. Customer service is terrible here. Look elsewhere.

Irina, the owner is truly the most lovely woman you could know. Her talents are not to be beat and you will get exactly what you ask for and more. We've been taking our clothes to her, along with my extended family, for 20+ years. For the any previous reviews stating the owner is "rude", ask yourself, do you want quality, second to none Tailor service or do you want to make friends? Irina is not a native to St.Louis so her culture is not that of the "bubbly" nature, but I assure you she is an amazing woman who cares for each customer that comes in her door.

My friend scheduled an appointment for me with Irina and she was happy to squeeze me in for an appointment on short notice. Irina knew right away what she needed to alter for my dress so it would look perfect! When I came back for the final fitting, the dress fit like a glove! Irina was literally a saving grace for my wedding dress. I had taken it to another person for alterations and my dress did not come out how I had wanted. I contacted Irina just 2 weeks before my wedding and she agreed to help me and fix my dress. Irina was truly wonderful during the entire process. She fixed everything on my dress with such skill and meticulous detail, from shortening the length of my dress, to giving me the correct bustle, to ensuring the that top was brought in properly.
