Owner has dry personality not friendly

Avoid at all costs!!! Took a bridesmaid dress to be altered. Had two fittings. The first was great she pinned everything, I made sure I would wear the heels I would be wearing in the wedding as well. When I came back for the second fitting nothing on the dress had even been touched yet. And once again I made sure I had on the exact deals I will be wearing for the wedding. She moved some things around again don't ask me why, and then told me the dress will be ready in a week. I looked in the mirror. everything looked fine, took the dress off and left. When I went back today to pick my dress up it is now an inch and a half too short, with the exact same heels on. The wedding is in three weeks and I now have address that is an inch and a half too short to even wear. All she did was say sorry said she wanted to try to make it better obviously she can't so the fabric back on the bottom of the dress and didn't even offer to take any money off of the total cost.

The lady who owns this place is beyond rude. I went to her yesterday to see if she can add fabric to the back of an evening gown I had brought in. First when I walked in she ignored me and I stood there for a good minute then decided just to walk up to her and started talking. I also want to point out she had her large dog next to her who kept growling and I thought it was so gross she let her dog down there surrounded by other people's clothing. Nonetheless, I explained to her what I wanted which seemed pretty self explanatory and I even brought the fabric I wanted to use. As I was explaining to her she kept saying she didn't understand what I was saying. I finally asked her if she wanted me to try it on so I can show her where I wanted the fabric. When I came back out and showed her, she barely glanced at me and flat out refused to do it.....it almost made me want to laugh out loud b/c what I was asking for was so simple and she CLEARLY was too lazy and had no interest in doing an evening gown. It looked like to me she was use to hemming slacks and jeans. That's no problem, but if you own a business, you need to know the right way to talk to people. Also, the place was filthy. Just disgusting. You would think she would vacuum, mop, dust, etc a place where she knew customers would be coming. This lady just doesn't care at all. I will go elsewhere to get my stuff altered-I would advise the general public of the same-you have been warned!

Clothing was not ready when promised. She did offer to rush it, but she must have gotten in to much of a hurry and job not completed as requested. While I have no choice but to live with the results, I would not recommend.

Maria was incredible, she went the extra mile to get some last minute alterations done for me, I can't thank her enough! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone.

This was such a great job. I took my bridesmaids dress there and she did such a wonderful job. She was very good about giving you information on how the dress worked and was awesome. The dress was perfect when it was finished. I will definitely be keeping them in mind.
