I took my wedding dress here to be tailored after having several good experiences with other clothing items. The straps were taken too far up on the front, causing the back straps to protrude and messing up the rest of the dress (made it shorter in the front, made the waist line at a different height so it was too loose in the belly area, and made the area where the cups were too high on my chest). I expressed my concern and Mary Jane promised it wasn’t that bad and that fashion tape would fix it. I took it to two different tailors and they could see exactly where it went wrong but weren’t sure if they could fix it. They suggested I bring it back to artistic first to try to have her fix for free. When I brought it back Mary Jane was short tempered and insisted I was being too picky. She offered to try to fix the straps, and upon my return the front was a little better but the back straps still protruded because too much fabric had been taken in the first place. I have pictures to show all of the areas that were messed up. Very disappointed. I also went back at one point when it was supposed to be ready to pick up and my dress was not there. Mary Jane claimed prom season had gotten the best of her and since my wedding wasn’t for another month we had plenty of time. Well she may have had plenty of time but given her hours I only had certain days available to make the trek down to her to pick up the dress and make sure it fit. I also recommended her to my bridesmaids and one of them complained that when she picked up her dress there was a small stain on it. I have always recommended this place but after this experience I would recommend finding a different tailor.

Mary Jane is fantastic to work with an provided excellent timely service for a very custom order swimsuit/bikini that was made to perfection. This was a high cut 90's style string bikini/suit that she was able to duplicate and make to perfection and quickly as well. I will be going to Mary Jane for additional suits to be made in the future.

When I went in for my last fitting I was so excited because it fit perfectly and everything looked amazing (bustle, length, belt attached, etc.) She also completed everything in a timely manner! I showed up with a satin choir gown with a full skirt that needed to be hemmed in 3 day's time, and though it was obvious this shop was very busy with alterations and bridal gowns, they were able to accommodate me. The price was fair for the amount of fabric to deal with and the rush job, and the work was done perfectly. The staff was quite friendly and we had good conversation at both drop off and pick up times. I can definitely recommend them and will be a returning customer for sure.
