If I could give this place zero stars I would. They have HORRIBLE customer service. They are completely unprofessional. I took my wedding gown to be altered and they obviously have no idea what they are doing. Not only did they put the wrong underlayment (apparently you can just buy a slip for this, they did know or didn't tell me that was an options opposed to sewing it into my dress) in to add volume to the dress, but it was sewn so poorly that you could see it THROUGH the outer layer. When I went to pick up my dress it was so staticky that I could not tell how bad it was until i took it to the dry cleaners later that afternoon. By the end of this I was practically in tears and took it to a very well respected tailor to fix. I have less than 2 weeks until my wedding. He confirmed that Taylor King had no idea what they were doing and had done multiple things wrong. When I called the first time to request my money back, since I will now have to pay another to FIX the dress, I was met with an incredibly defensive seamstress. After trying to explain to her that I am bad at confrontation and was unhappy with the results she told me to come back in the next day to talk to the owner. When I called the owner today, a young woman answered stating she was the owner. She is not, but that did not prevent her from becoming increasingly volatile with me. While I did raise my voice after she told me that "once i took the dress to another tailor" they were no longer liable, She yelled at me, a paying customer; cut me off, spoke over me and blamed me for the horrible experience. On top of the fact that she lied to me about who she was. Getting your wedding dress should be one of the happiest moments of your wedding experience and mine was truly terrible at Taylor King. I recommend NO ONE goes there for anything they actually care about. Not only are they OK giving you a horrible quality product, but they feel it is well within their rights to disrespect and chastise their customers. I paid for a "professional" service and got the farthest thing from it. On top of ALL of this, when I asked them to bustle my dress they ask me HOW to do it then suggested that I safety pin it. When I brought this up to the "owner" she quickly changed the subject stating that that is not the issue we were discussing. On top of everything else, they also didn't bring the dress in correctly, though after EVERYTHING else, this was the least of my concerns. I will never use this place again.

I have been a customer of Tailor King for many years and have never experienced any complications ever. I am also a Buyer for a large corporation and have used Tailor King through mail order. I know that My product will be done exactly the way that I have requested them to alter. I have trust in them enough that I have them send My product to the consumers address for me and have never had any customer complaints. I have come to know the Owner on a professional level as well as Ala and Lana also. This family has worked through the years to accomplish a very personal and professionals relationship with myself and others I have recommended to their establishment.

I literally drive 40 minutes out to the west side for this tailor, because it’s worth it. Friendly, knowledgeable, and professional.

This place used to be my family's go to tailor. We would take all our stuff here to be tailored so naturally I thought of them when it came to my fiancées wedding dress. Since the owner’s daughter is now "in charge" the customer service of this establishment has gone downhill. They do not care about the final product. My Fiancée put the dress on after the alterations and was almost in tears. Nothing and I mean NOTHING was right... In taking it to 3 different tailors we confirmed our worst fears. They had borderline ruined the dress and now someone else must UNDO everything they did. I will also mention the other tailor is going to do it for half the price. To add insult to injury the daughter of the owner was rude and yelled at us for asking for our money back...saying that we should have taken it back to them if we were not satisfied. Unfortunately, after finding out from other tailors that it was all wrong we were afraid to let them touch the dress again.... Its 16 days until our big day and this is what we are currently dealing with. Just to give you an idea of the incompetence of this place they recommended scotch guarding the wedding dress to remedy the static cling after they had their hands on it. Also, they wanted to use a safety pin for her bustle.
