This place is amazing, so glad we found them. My daughter's prom dress was the right size. However, it came from China tailored four sizes to small. A couple days left to prom, I called Sophia's Tailoring in Livonia. The owner affectionately known to me as Ba Ba was cool as a cucumber and assured us he would have it ready before prom. He actually finished in a day. Excellent service, great price. I highly recommend! Before and after photos.

I had a casual summer dress altered here last week and they did excellent work! The skirt was shortened and the straps were altered. There was a design on the bottom of the skirt that was removed and put back once it was hemmed. They put all the extra touches on the strap that had been there before as well. I am very happy with the new fit of this dress and I will be returning here for sure! While I was there they were hemming someone's jeans and it was apparent that they give good service no matter what you are bringing in for alterations. This is great because I have a lot of casual outfits that need some altering.

Took my bridesmaids dress to this place and after fixing it once, it turned out to still fit incorrectly. I told him I was not happy, and he offered only suggestions about how the dress was poorly made/designed. If you need a dress really altered, or if you'd like to complement your body, go somewhere else. He may be great with men's clothing, but I do not recommend for dresses or women's clothing. Also, this may just be personal preference, but the store smells like someone smokes cigarettes all day long. I will never go here again, and would not recommend to anyone else.

I have been going to Sophia"s for the past three years. This place rocks. I have done multiple alterations from pants, pajamas, hockey jerseys, patches and emblems. Every time is perfect! After this last alteration that was very detailed. It came out perfect. Absolutely Fabulous place! Don't hesitate to come here. You will leave with a spot on job and you will come back.

Never again!!! I brought a $600 pageant gown to be tailored and they literally just chopped the bottom off and left jagged edges with unfinished stitches and wanted $90 for this... Ridiculous...
