I got a good laugh out of Joey's pant story. Obviously, your jeans are too small for you. Maybe it is time to get a new pair of jeans or go on a diet? My experience with Sofia's has been nothing but professional with great customer service. She is always happy and willing to take on any mending, tailoring, or cleaning needs I give her. I have always been satisfied with the results too! As far as prices go, you get what you pay for.

I went to bagla several times for alterations and for the most part provided good service lately I had jeans repaired to imperfection. The button came off an zipper broke. I had to hammer the button back. It was embarassing a the store and my pants started coming off. She appeared disinterested and wants to nickel and dime her customers. She told me that I never want to see those jeans again. I told her that is not how you react to your customers in a condescending manner. It is unprofessional and not good customer service. More was said but don't have time to write a book. She was just flat out rude will never go to her again. The person who wrote a negative comment don't feel like your the lone ranger Bagla is a con artist who only cares about the bottom line

I took a vest in to have it resized. She told me 65$. This was my first tailoring experience. Something didn't feel right about that price. She told me it would take 8 days. I called some other tailors and they all quoted me similarly 17-21$ in 1 day. I confronted her with this information, and she ended up giving it to me for 45$. You be the judge... I had know clue this was an occupation that you needed to haggle in.

I had my wedding dress altered here and it was done in less than 5 days for only $50. It was a lot of work as the whole skirt had to come off due to lace on the bottom and she even added a nice button and a loop to pick up the train. Great work and awesome price, it would have costed me $200 and 4 weeks at the salon.

Ridiculously priced. $45 to get an inch hemmed on a dress. She also ripped the side of my friends brand new dress. Not going back

I've been going to Sofia's for 10+ years. She's always done excellent work, her turn around time is quick, and her rates are really reasonable. I wouldn't go anywhere else

I desperately needed alterations on my dress pants for a wedding the next day. I brought my pants in the night before around closing time and she had them ready by 11am the next morning. I will definitely be back.

If there was an option for ZERO stars, I would. I had a rip in my dress AFTER I got the hemming and cups done. I bought the dress brand new and had no rips, and I made sure to check that before I gave it to her. She made it such a hassle for me to fix it and when I asked for a discount because this was her doing. She refused and was extremely rude to me. She is ridiculously overpriced and stitched my dress up in 2 seconds. It was very sloppy and now have to go somewhere else for them to fix it. Definitely not going back there. Search somewhere else, for your sake!
