"we don't do curtains". That's it, no explanation, goodbye. I needed the curtain shortened. What is so difficult about cutting the piece of material in a straight line, fold and run it through a sewing machine for proper edge? If you call yourself a tailor you should be able to do this simple job. And if you call yourself a "king", well...

The owner is awesome. Listens and makes suggestions - type of work he has done for me so far: pant alteration, leather jacket lining replacement, my daughter's prom dress, wife's dresses. Outstanding work - discuss price upfront, so there are no surprises as was the case very first time we went to this place.

I called "KIng" to confirm he was open and ask if he could place a hook & eye on a sweater. I had a whole pack of hooks & eyes so he didn't even have to use his. He said he would do it while I wait as it would take less than 5 minutes. I arrived there and he was NOT pleasant. He said NO I WON'T DO IT WHILE YOU WAIT...ok I said, I will get pick it up it later in the week. As I was about to walk out I asked how much it would be. TEN DOLLARS...I took my sweater never to return to this terrible business man.
