I had a sport coat trailered here for my new job and the staff the a great job making sure I had it back in a timely manner. They were very accommodating and their work was impeccable. That coat is now my favorite sports coat. I highly recommend them for anyone that needs professional trailering.

Awesome work. I recently took a dress in to be tailored for a special event. The dress itself is quite challenging. It is a corset in front and back, with elastic lace panels on the sides. I needed it taken in quite a bit, which was a challenge due to the fabric of the dress. I also needed the wide straps / mock sleeves shortened. Kim was awesome, explaining the necessary alterations and working with me to get the best fit from the garment. Her price was extremely reasonable with about a week turn around time. I dropped off a giant bundle of lace and tulle. I picked up a beautifully tailored dress that I'll be proud to flounce around in at Theatre Bizarre! ♡♡♡

Kim the Tailor, is a great place to go when you want to upgrade your wardrobe with clothes you already have. Like for example, the tops that are popular right now are cold shoulder tops. Kim the Tailor, has reconstructed my old tops into cold shoulder tops I have gotten tons of compliments at work and in public. I have even designed a outfit I brought material to her to finish my design this is a great place to get your clothes the way you want them to be presented on you.

This was my first time at this location. I took in a blazer that needed to be altered as it was too big for me. Kim was very nice and made me feel very comfortable. She does good work and my blazer looks much better. I’ve since taken 2 more blazers in to her to be altered.

I went there with just over a month til my wedding and she was so helpful. She doesnt do appointments which is fine by me because im a busy bride with an 8-5 job. I need the hem taken off, some of the tulle removed, and a rip that showed all of my butt to be closed. She said give her two weeks. I came back a week later and dropped off my dress. She had original told me 180 and my total came to 200. Which, for all the things wrong with my dress that was the best price i had recieved. I picked up my dress and it was beautiful and so much lighter for my July wedding. 200 dollars. 2 weeks. Happy bride. Go to Kims!

Kim did a great job! I had a bridesmaids dress that needed to be altered in the bust and she was able to remove the zipper and adjust it so I had a beautiful corset added instead. It looked even better than before. It matched the color and blended together perfectly! It was very reasonably priced and she quoted a time in which it would be ready and I picked it up right on schedule. Highly recommend!

Nice lady. More of an alterations place than a tailor. I took a suit in and she would only take in the sleeves and pant legs, even though it really could use more actual tailoring to fit me like a glove. Charged 41 for the alterations, it was ready when she said it'd be.

Paid twice as much as everyone in the same wedding party for the same exact alterations ( some of the girls I even had less alterations) they went to other tailors all over Lansing. Definitely feel I got ripped off.
