I called today to cancel an appointment for tomorrow, because I'm sick (I went to the hospital yesterday). I was just told that if I cancel I can't make any more appointments, and I said "Okay", because I still can't go. They said "Thank you" and hung up without getting my name, so not sure how they could cancel it without my name. I just think it is bad business to turn a customer away because of ONE cancellation (I could see if it was more than one) without knowing the circumstances.

Ha altered 2 pair of cargo shorts for me. Hollister and American Eagle brand. He took in the waist 1in on each pair of shorts. Came out perfect, no one could ever tell they weren't brand new. Even replacing the tag on the inside waistband. perfect.

I brought a bridesmaids dress in to be altered and had the absolute worst customer service experience. The dress was not ready when promised - they hadn't even started working on it yet. When I said I couldn't come back in an hour they handed me the dress back and said they couldn't help me. After a very tense exchange, I ended up coming back the next morning, but the owner was extremely rude and acted like it was my fault they didn't have the dress ready when promised. They did a decent job on the alterations, but it was not worth the hassle and horrible customer service. Plus when I picked up the dress the next morning, a man came to pick up his fiance's wedding dress and THEY COULDN'T FIND IT. I will never use Ha Alterations again.

I have been taking various garments to Ha Alterations for years. Most recently, I brought in three dresses to be hemmed. After waiting three weeks for the dresses to be finished, I was charged $95 for the alterations. I was floored! When I asked why the charge, he explained that one of the dresses needed special work because it was a circular type hem job. Still, this cost is outrageous. Before leaving your garments, be sure to get a quote of how much they will charge. In the past, they posted a sign with charges (that's why I went there in the first place), but now that the sign is gone, they will charge according to how they're feeling that day. And, I was a loyal customer! I will not return to Ha Alterations.

I took my wedding dress to them back in February. They told me it would be ready May 4th. They called me the 3rd saying they needed 2 more weeks. I finally got to try it on and they took the corset out for no reason. I asked them why and they just said we put back in give me 2 weeks. It was finally ready on june 1st (my wedding is june 29th) it looked awful. I have to buy a whole new dress!!

I've taken my alterations here for about 5 years. From broken zippers to bridesmaids dresses and my wedding dress they have always been on time, very fast and friendly. Communicating with them can be a bit slower with thier thick accent but they always do a great job and I am always confident that they know what needs to be done, and since everything comes back perfect I'll always take my clothes there.

I've had nothing but great experiences with Ha Alterations. I've been taking clothes there for almost 8 years and they've never once let me down. They always do an excellent job in a timely manner. I've had pants and skirts hemmed, dresses taken in, zippers replaced and more. I have brought them some pretty intricate dresses with darts/pleats/ruffles, etc, and I have always come away happy with the changes. They have always been extremely courteous toward me and they are very quick taking measurements, etc. I highly recommend this place!

Ha ruined my three pairs of brand new jeans by cutting them too short. He did not even let me try them on—just went by the outside seam of the other jeans I had on. I went back to show him and he just argued with me, even asking another customer to give their opinion! I will never be back and I certainly cannot recommend this business to others.

Kept my clothes for almost 5 weeks and never finished them. After several phone calls I was promised my clothes would be ready. I gave Ha 3 extra days before I stopped in only to find out nothing was done! They had 10 shirts and 2 pairs of pants.

They were great! This is a busy little place, but they make sure everything is perfect! I went in for my second fitting and I was happy and ready to take my dress...she said no, she wanted to keep it another week and make adjustments on two small little things I didn't even notice. I was happy knowing she wanted anything that left her place to be absolutely perfect. I would definitely recommend!

They did an amazing job on my wedding dress. It was way too big when I first brought it to them. The initial appointment was quick and they did everything I asked. My second fitting was also quick but they made sure everything was perfect before I walked out the door. Would go to them again in a heartbeat!

brought in a dress that had two small rips to get sewn. i definitely thought they overcharged me but i needed the work done so i said ok. he told me it would be ready in a week. a week goes by, they dont call me. i wait 5 more days and nothing. the next day i call them and the guy was being extremely rude. he started yelling at me because i didnt have a ticket number (?) and he wasnt understanding the description i was giving of my dress. he put the lady on the phone and she told me she was "too busy" to help me at the moment and asked me come in. literally 1 minute later after we hang up, she calls me and tells me my dress is ready. so not the best customer service experience I've had but the work they did on my dress was decent.

They do good work and I’ve always taken things here because they were affordable. Just make sure to ask how much a specific alteration may cost- sometimes the amount of work involved is much more than you may expect.

If I could leave -0- stars I would. My Fiancé took her wedding dress here to get altered a few weeks ago. After the initial meeting she thought the process was going to go smoothly. She had been referred to this place by a friend. A couple weeks later, she went in after they had called to say the alterations were done only to be cancelled on as she arrived without a reason or explanation. Once she rescheduled and was able to come back the next day, the first red flag was that almost nothing had been done to the dress. Maybe one or two of the 10 adjustments had even been made. Not only this, but the man went on to yell at my fiancé claiming she had “gained weight” in the two weeks leading up to the alterations being made. When going through a busy time, such as planning for a wedding, the last thing you need is someone making alterations to your wedding dress to yell insulting and hurtful things (to the entire store) and make up excuses for why the work isn’t done. Will not be referring this place to anyone, nor will we be giving them any of our future business. A traumatic experience to say the least and something we hope no one else has to go through.

I took my wedding dress here to be altered; it needed to be taken in from a size 6 to a size 2 and had lots of intricate detailing that needed to be adjusted. The people there were extremely friendly, but I had difficulty communicating because I'm not the best at discerning accents and have a quiet voice myself! That being said, they did make every effort to make sure they knew what I wanted. The only real snag I encountered was that I had scheduled to come pick up my dress on a Saturday, but when I arrived, it hadn't been finished yet. They asked if I could come back the next day, so I did. (They let me in on their closed hours.) Even though communication was slightly on the more difficult side and it wasn't done on the agreed time, the alteration job itself was flawless. It fits me perfectly; the intricate design is seamlessly transitioned, and the bustle system was recreated from scratch without compromising any elements of the dress. The pricing was very fair for a job of that magnitude. I couldn't be happier with the results!

I’ve used them in the past and they do a great job. However they close at 6 not 7 (which is what it says here) and I drove all the way there arriving at 6:05 and hours on storefront says they close at 6:00. Just an FYI to change it here.

My MOB dress and the Maid of Honor’s dress were not done when we went to pick them up. They did finish the alterations before the wedding, but my dress, that only needed to be shortened 1 inch, looked as though they just took a pair of shears and cut it. From the moment I put it on beads were dropping off of the bottom of the dress. The bottom was never hemmed. I’m still finding beads everywhere.

Ha is AMAZING! My sister took her wedding dress there to be altered and she worked her magic to make it look so beautiful. When i came time for me to find my wedding dress, i knew i could take it to Ha and she would get it fixed and looking gorgeous! I live in Texas and i wouldn't trust anyone else but her!!
