I needed my dress altered for a wedding that was less than a week away. D'Nora squeezed me in, even with such short notice. The price was fair as she went above and beyond my expectations. She was very kind, taking her time to make sure everything looked just right. I highly recommend her talented service to anyone.

(this is my sister's experience) "I stopped by D Nora's Tailoring today, because I need my dress taken in a little bit for Cindi's memorial service. Who wants to look like a slob for a Marines memorial? Not me. Before I even got my full question out, I was being yelled at by what seemed to be someone very bipolar. "I have to leave for the weekend, I don't have time for this, make an appointment next time or come back Saturday, I'm out of here". Ummm? Ill never come back here again lady? The hours said open and it was noon. Whats with people who are so rude all the time? Its all I seem to experience anymore. So I walked to my car in tears, and called someone else. The last thing I want to do is get a dress hemmed for a funeral. BUT ... you have a good day too lady." I do not suggest this place, unless you like abuse.

Take your items in, and know with out a doubt, they will be taken care of correctly. You will be satisfied with the results of your property, if for some reason you feel something needs to be improved or done better, Just let her know what you want done and it will get done with out any inconvienance. Simple and reliable place for your unforseen needs that will be done in a timly manor. Check this place out for those things you don't want to do or mess up?. Atmosphere is one on one check in of items.

The seamstress is rude and she did not do a good job. I brought in multiple shirts to get hems fixed and the seams are not straight and she used two different thread colors in the same hem. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Brought in an army dress uniform, first time just to have sewn rank sewn on, took over two weeks, every time I tried to call and check on the status I got no answer. Rank was sewn crooked and I stood waiting for 10min or more with no greeting waiting to pick it up and pay. Why I went back i don't know but I brought it back in to get combat stripes sewed on. Brought it in mid June said i need it NTL than July 1st. She said she'd call me when it was ready. July 5th and I've called to check the status with no answer. Went to pick it up and it wasn't done. So I had to search all over town trying to find a place that could do it same day. She should have called and said she couldn't get it done. Didn't even apologize for not getting it done.

Very very very rude. I walked in to ask about a dress being hemmed for a funeral and before I finished she told me no, she needed to leave. Make an appointment, I don’t have time for that. So weird.....so rude. Who treats people that way? I will never go back here, ever.

This seamstress is probably the worst I ever heard of. My two friends were having their bridesmaid dresses done by her and had them pinned to size two months in advance. Next week is the wedding and she still wasn't done with even the first alterations. She was very snotty about it and acted like we owed her an apology. She was charging my friends twice as much as the seamstress that's doing mine for the same things and their dresses are the same size . My seamstress got my dress done in one week and had a bunch of weddings around the same time. My friends are gladley taking their business to my seamstress Grace. Horrible customer service from Dnora.

I took my dress in to get the straps shortened, and she told me it would be ready in a week. After two weeks she called me and said that it was finally ready. I went to the shop to pick up my dress twice now during business hours and the doors were locked, lights off, but the sign “open” was up. I have called multiple times and she does not answer the phone.

Nora is terrific, did an emergency job for me and I was able to pick it up a couple of hours later. Plus her work is absolutely the best.
