So unprofessional -- the store didn't open until closer to 8AM despite stating the hours start at 7:30AM. Charged me $45 to do a simple hem on a dress and committed to having it pressed and done by a deadline. Stopped by the pick it up and dress wasn't bagged and hadn't been steamed. When I called ahead of time to confirm if I could stop by, she yelled at me and told me she was too busy to chat and then hung up. When I stopped by, she then argued with me about whether or not I even asked to have it pressed (the dress was clearly wrinkled and couldn't be worn without being pressed). I'll be looking for another tailors in the area...and would not recommend this place at all.

Excellent service! I went in for three buttons (with two missing, and these were a hard type of button to find) and pants to be hemmed, and she had them ready the very next day for the very fair price of $17 (the two missing buttons were an expensive variety, being made of leather).

My old tailor went out of business, and I was looking for a new tailor in Cambridge. Brought a very simple “trial” job to Aroush’s – sew 4 buttons on each sleeve of a new sport coat. I came with all the material (buttons and thread) and a sample coat to show exactly what was needed. The tailor waved off the sample saying it was very simple. It wasn’t. The completed job was sloppy: thread sewed all the way through the inner lining of the sleeve (sample had it only through the out layer of fabric), left white basting thread in place to hold flaps together, and didn't get even spacing so some buttons ride up on top of next one while others leave gaps. Tailor offered to redo it saying, “It will only take 5 minutes”, yet refused to accept less than the full $20 for the job as-is, claiming it had taken a long time. Can’t understand. If a good job takes 5 minutes, why does a sloppy job take longer? Skill level did not seem to be there to do a proper job, so I declined the offer to redo. This is a one star rather than zero star review because it was ready at the promised time.

I had zippers fixed and elastic band added for my dresses. The lady was very nice and she discussed with me on how to better fix the dress. I got it second day with a little bit extra fee, but the price was reasonable and cheaper than another place I went. I would come back again.
