I don't know why it is, but it is hard to find an all around good tailor. That's why I am happy to have tried Uptown based on a tip from someone else. The hype is real. I've never had altered suits fit me so well. The pricing is excellent, the customer service is old school top notch, and the turnaround is great. I will be coming here for all of my future alteration needs!

Mr. John T. Jones is hidden gem tucked away in the back of an office building in Pikesville. He is exactly the type of small business, classic, experienced tailor that people should hope to have! He is fairly priced, personable, always willing to help, and an excellent tailor. Definitely the best tailor that I have ever been to.

when I gave my jacket for repair, I expected good quality from the tailor, but I got a spoiled jacket. I do not recommend Uptown tailor . Poor quality clothing repair.

The proprietor, Mr. Jones, and his staff do great work. I was starting a new job, so I brought in a few old and new suits that didn't fit me as well as I'd like. He managed to fix items that other tailors have told me that I should just throw out. He was knowledgeable and attentive and he had the work done in time for me to look sharp on my first day. The prices are reasonable for the high quality received. I'd recommend this shop to anyone wanting to look their best.

This experience is the first I’ve had since learning about this taylor located near my house. I dropped off a custom made suit blazer on Tuesday to be taken in in time for my fiancé to have to take overseas with him to a wedding. Not only did the owner give me a reasonable price, he was professional, friendly and I was able to pick it up by 3pm on Thursday. I will continue to take my business to this taylor as I am very impressed by the quality of work and service provided to me.
