I've never used a tailor before and Sisay will be the one I go to for future alterations. I had a bridesmaid dress that needed altered and his initial quote was 10 days, but after just 3 he had already finished, which was fantastic! I tried it on in shop and he did on-site alterations while I waited. The dress fit me perfectly in the end and I had no complaints on the wedding day with my fit (unlike some other ladies who went elsewhere). Sisay was professional, reasonably priced, responsive, quick, and I will be coming back for future alterations.

MIRACLE WORKER!!! He knew how to accentuate my body and made me the most comfortable and beautiful traditional wedding gown I could have imagined. Everything was done within only a few days notice and he truly pulled it off. He charged us a reasonable price for the dress as well as a matching vest and bowtie for my husband. He didn't even get a chance to measure my husband. He simply went off of a photo that I showed him on my phone. This guy is brilliant. Everything turned out great! The pictures I have doesn't really do it much justice but that's all I got at the moment! Thank you Sisay!!!!!

I would recommend his services! I needed some pants tailored for an upcoming wedding. The material of the pants was not a common material(in my opinion). I was a little worried that was not going to find someone who would be able to tailor that material. I did some research and found this place. I was so happy I did. I was looking for a place to fix my jacket and bag, both of which I thought, had broken zippers. I searched Google for tailors near my home and picked Sisay Design and Tailoring because of the great Yelp reviews. I took my items over to the store, and I was delighted with the professionalism and service I received. First, Sisay looked at my zipper and showed me that I was just being a little too rough with the jacket. He saved me money by not just taking the jacket and working on it. Second, he fixed my bag about 20 minutes or so. All this, while having great conversation. This will be my first ever Yelp review I've ever given anyone, and Sisay deserves it. Thanks!

My beautiful wedding dress had 6 holes in it after a night of celebrating and dancing. I was really nervous it could not be fixed but Sisay did an amazing job, every single hole was repaired and you could not tell it had any issues before. It was absolutely perfection! I also took in a pair of jeans and had 6 inches cut off with original bottom hemming which looks completely original, no seems showing at all. My mother had 6 dresses altered and they were exactly how she envisioned! Sisay is honest, kind, and does amazing work. 10 stars! I will be back for a dress alteration soon!

I had high hopes when I we spoke on the phone with Sisay (I guess that was his name, he never introduced himself). He seemed friendly and I read his positive reviews. I went in to get a hem done on a bridesmaids dress - just the hem, no alterations. After he pinned it and was taking my phone number he quoted the cost as $185. ONE HUNDRED EIGHTY FIVE DOLLARS. For a hem. On a dress that cost $150. I was flabbergasted. He then tried to negotiate with me and said he would do it for $85. I said no and he got annoyed for me wasting his time. I went to another seamstress who completely altered my wedding dress and had hemmed another formal dress for me - the only reason I was looking for other options is she was a little further away. She took me immediately - was incredibly thorough (she spent 20 minutes pinning and making sure everything was even) and quoted me $60. I don't know if this guy thought I was naive or what - but he was definitely trying to take advantage. Ridiculous.

I came to Sisay because he has such high reviews and he didn't disappoint! I drive 30+ minutes for my tailoring requests bc I know I can trust him. He always delivers a quality product on time! The first dress I brought him was a bridesmaids dress that was a hot mess! He even pointed out that the manufacturer sewed one of the sleeves on backwards. He was able to leverage his tailoring and fashion design skills to transform the dress in a way that I didn't know was possible! And he did the same thing for two more dresses - one that was final sale and too small and the other that was a detailed, embellished dress that needed to be taken in. His prices are very reasonable and he's hilarious yet professional! Go to Sisay. You won't be disappointed.
