I drove 30 miles to the store today to purchase a suit, dress shirts and ties. After deciding to make a purchase I asked the employee to please make sure the other dress shirts (I could buy 1 for $79 or get 3 for $99) were the same size. Of course they weren't. Simple mistake or intentional I don't know but when I got home I found the mistake and called the store. While the employee who made the mistake offered to ship me the correct sizes and I could return the wrong ones, the manager got on the phone and was completely unwilling to do this. Since I live 30 miles away, returning to the store isn't a simple event. He refused to ship me the correct sizes as the employee offered. Good thing my credit card company will reverse the charges so now if they want to collect their $450 they are going to have to make this right. I will never shop there again!

Giving a 1 star so hopefully management will see this and take note. Went in there tonight, dressed in similar attire that is sold here, so you think it's easy to spot me as a serious customer. There were 4 young men (all under 30) working in the store with only 1 with a customer. None of the other 3 even acknowledged my existence in the store....2 were talking with each other at a display table and the other was sitting down on his phone. I was in the store long enough to look at the shoes, same brand as I was wearing by the way, some shirts, suits and sport coats, all this time with not a single acknowledgement or offer of assistance. Needless to say, but I will anyway, I left without a purchase. My advice to management is better training or have someone more mature there to keep an eye on the store. If there was a more mature adult there, they were in the back and not minding the front. Hope management sees this and makes improvements. Perhaps if so, I can make a review edit after (if) a next visit.

The worst experience ever. My brother in law wedding is today and I’m still not ready Despite going there 2 months ago to have Everything fitted- my pants tailored!!! The shirt is size xxl when I wear Medium. The pants are as long as my wife dress, this is after being tailored. So I am back today the day of the wedding to see what they can do. So stressful and no one in there seems to care. They only care for big sales. I was complete ignored and rushed out every time I visited. Guess what? I wear a lot of suits because of my work, and you lost a potential Big sales customer because you failed a simple transaction! Get it together and treat everyone the same way

From bad to worse... I recently rented a tuxedo from Men’s Warehouse and had a terrible experience. I was hurt and embarrassed and will never go back there again. I should’ve known on the first day when I was measured and not returned again, but I honestly thought it was a singular situation. I was very wrong. Upon my return, the workers who had been very rude to me on my first visit repeated their behavior, but along with them this time was the manager and another attendant. On my third trip to the store for another fitting, I brought someone else with me to witness the hateful attitudes I was getting. She was appalled and saddened by the bigotry she saw first hand. But this was not the only issue with the rental experience. I ended up not even being able to wear the pants they had tailored and had to buy different slacks elsewhere that would fit. The sleeves on the tuxedo jacket were also too short but luckily I could make it work as long as I didn’t extend my arms. Of course, they could’ve continued to adjust and tailor these if I had time, but my event was less than 8 hours away and the store was closing. With nearly three weeks ordering time, all the items should’ve been ready and tailored well before the scheduled event. I never expected to pay nearly three hundred dollars for such poor quality and rude service. *Note: there was a male attendant working at both fittings who stood apart from the rest and took time away from his client to help me when he saw how others were treating me. He was the one standout employee that made me feel like I mattered. I will be sending him a personal thank you as well.

Recently rented a tuxedo here, fitted in a different state and picked up at this location. Everyone here was very helpful and checked on different options for a few items when I asked if they were available. Good experience overall. I've also purchased a few suits here many years ago and they served me well. It's been the same salesmen for years, they're all very helpful and true to their word with alterations and availability.

Worst service I have ever received. Truly the last place I would ever return. I showed up for a fitting as a groomsman and was told several times that they had a list of the party and that I was not included. Even after insisting I was they said someone must have dropped out and I must be a replacement. RUDE. This was never the case and took a half hour just to get them to measure me. Afterwards they even called the groom to tell him everyone but myself had been measured which he quickly responded with the story of my poor service. Even after this they even tried to bill me $20 a day for a late return even though it was a destination wedding that I wouldn't have been able to return from for a few days. I shared my experience and not an apology but rather a very awful attitude that I was displeased. I would never want to support this store with my patronage again!

Update...Jack has made a difference. I will certainly give this store a secind chance. Vommunication needs to improve but personally abound in this store. These guts are worth a look when buying mens clothes. Bought a suit...price above average but nice suit. Then no one in the store could take measurements to tailor suit. Agreed to come back but I'm available Sunday and Wednesday but tailor is not. Ok call me with times/dates. No call. Take off work early on Thursday, just to try. Tailor has taken a month vacation, but the district manager can do it and will be in the store Sunday, we'll call to confirm. Missed my first event with the suit. No phone call. Come in Sunday, no one can measure the suit. Ok, district manager will be here Wednesday between 9 am and 2pm. We'll call you Monday to confirm. No call. I called Wednesday (fool my twice shame on me) no body can measure suit in store. This experience is unbelievable....how can you specialize in selling suits that have to be tailored and not train your staff to take measurements and let your tailor take a month off with no backup plan...

My husband and his best man went here for their suits for our wedding. We will never go to Men's Wearhouse again and will recommend that no one else does either. The experience was absolutely terrible and stressful. They went well in advance of the wedding and found suits. They decided to get them tailored at Men's Wearhouse which was a mistake. When they went in for their fitting both of the suits looked awful. They were re-measured and went in for a second fitting, this time the suits looked even worse than the first time. The week of the wedding they had to go back in and my husband's suit was finally good enough to wear to the wedding, our best man's suit was really bad still and he had to have it tailored again and picked it up the day before the wedding. Luckily it was good enough to wear. The staff at this location is completely incompetent and could care less about the customers.

Absolutely horrible. Got fitted for my best friends wedding and nothing was the right size. Swimming in my shirt and pants looked like yoga pants. They got me another shirt that fit well but I had to wait until the wedding day to get my pants. Very stressful thinking if the pants they get dont fit that I am screwed. The only reason I'm not giving this one star is because the employee in the back who I think was Dan ( young, Spanish looking) was very friendly. Get it together, we are talking about a wedding, not a suit for a cookout.

This is quite possibly the best shopping experience I have ever had. All of the times I have been in this store, the staff was friendly, professional, and very helpful. I have not had a single negative experience, and am always pleased with my visits. The gentleman on my most recent visit impressed me very much. He was always friendly, helpful, and even took the time to introduce himself, get my name, and shake my hand. All of the staff was busy helping customers, and everyone seemed happy to be helping. I rented my tuxedo for my wedding from this location and worked with Benjamin. He was extremely professional and helpful as well as knowledgeable concerning all of my needs. I'd highly recommend working with him or Adam if you ever need anything from this store. I received a $400 shopping voucher for renting my tuxedo here and was told that I could redeem it online via the store's website. After spending an hour loading items into my cart, I went to check out, only to find that I was unable to use the code online and that I had to be in the store to use said code. As it was inconvenient for me to visit the store, I printed the cart contents and called. I was once again helped by Benjamin (as well as Adam, this time) who worked to locate the items and have them shipped to me so I wouldn't have to make a trip to the store. While the misinformation did set me off a little, I'd highly recommend visiting the store and having Adam and Benjamin help you.

Worst experience. Picked up a tux for my buddies wedding. Shoes were 3 sizes too big. The bag said 8 (ive got small feet) but the shoes said 11. They quickly got a replacement. The shirt was extremely wrinkled. When i brought that problem to the worker he said "well you're wearing a vest right?" To which i responded, no I'm not... He said he would go out back and get it pressed. He came back with the same wringled shirt, saying it was pressed but it was cold (clearly not pressed). I had to then demand a new shirt. Several members of the wedding party had to iron their clothes and/or get replacements. This is unacceptable and this company should be avoided. There are plenty of competitors out there to have to deal with this.

The staff were extremely helpful when everything was wrong with all but one suit just two days before the wedding. This review is just for the staff at this location, as the overall experience with MW was terrible.

Unbelievable experience!!! Manager of Hickory NC, Men's Wearhouse supports the arts! Men's Wearhouse has gone above and beyond in supporting our Music Department at Catawba Valley Community College. Our Men's Ensemble was fitted by Jack(Store Manager) who personally came, measured, and supplied our Men with quality clothing. When the Men took the stage, they looked and sounded like a million bucks. Thank you Jack for all of your time, effort, and support you have given our program. At first a little snobby but nice enough . So my husband was fitted for tux for our son's wedding . When we got home I was looking at the paperwork and noticed that THEY had the colors wrong ! We even showed them a picture off their Web site of the tux that he wanted . I called the next day , they said that they would fix it no problem . When the tux came in the colors were all mixed up so they finally sent some one else over to try to fix what should have been a simple rental ( we showed them a picture ! ) When we finally got the tux the day of the wedding ! They charged my husband more because of there mistake . Were they had to rush to get the right color . This is BULL S*** ! So before you go here I suggest you go anywhere else , we could have bought a new suit cheaper than renting from these guys . Word of mouth. . . I will let everyone know how sorry I think you are.

My fiancee and I had an amazing experience here. The feel of our wedding is super laid back so we thought we'd just hit the mall for something nice for him to wear. After no success trying to piece a nice outfit together by ourselves, we tried men's warehouse. Alex helped us and after he asked us a couple questions about what me and my bridemaids were wearing, it felt as though he totally understood the feel of our day. He took the two vests that my finacee liked, laid them out on a counter with a few different options for pants, shirts, and ties, that he thought would look nice with the vests. He suggested shoes, and by the time we walked out, we not only had my finacees attire, but also our sons, and all the groomsmen. Alex was talented, patient, and so nice. We loved how we really focused on us and gave us his undivided attention. It was the most painless part of the wedding planning process so far. Thank you men's warehouse!! We can't wait to see everything put together.

Just got "new shoes" that were shipped from another store. I picked them up and brought them home only to discover that these shoes had already been laced and had very noticeable scuff marks near the right heel. I called the store where the manager insisted that she checked them for damage upon delivery from FEDEX. I asked her why new shoes would be damaged, wherein she told me that they were not new shoes. Unfortunately, this isn't the first issue with this particular store. AT THIS STORE IT'S AMATURE HOUR EVERYDAY.

I would not recommend Men's Warehouse to anyone planning a wedding. Our experience with them for our September wedding of this year was an extremely stressful endeavor. Staff at multiple different locations completely messed up our basic information (names and email addresses), our color scheme choices, our tuxedo choices, and more. We were not able to trust that any of our phone calls would produce problem resolution and this caused us to have to go IN PERSON multiple times and mistakes were even made then. This was the only area which caused stress for my wedding and I am so disappointed in this company. I truly hope that my situation was a fluke but it's hard to believe since SO many errors were made at MULTIPLE different locations both in Maryland and in other states.

Boyfriend ordered his tux, and it was also not what we ordered. Given it still matched the rest of the tux, you might not always get what you order from here.

Good morning, I normally don't write reviews or contact customer service but I need some immediate assistance with my order and experience. I went into store #3229 a few times before ordering my suits for my wedding/honeymoon. At first my fiance' and I didn't know what I was going to wear since we were getting married in Port Canaveral, Florida on August 11, 2018. The staff was always willing to help show any promotions or show me any type of line or style. We finally decided to order on 2-18-2018. I purchased two complete suits: jacket, pants, vest, under shirt, and tie. One suit was for my wedding party and was told we could start a group as long as I paid for my order in full. That was not a problem. We did not take any clothing home that day due to having to order one of my suits and the suit for my wedding needs to be altered. A few days later I received an email saying shirts were 50% off. I logged into my account and saw it shows I never bought/ordered anything. So I called the store and spoke to jack (store manager) and he then says I didn't purchase the undershirts or the ties. Said he must have forgot to ring them in on the order. I didn't like that he didn't order them but he did try to make it right by still honoring the 3 for $99 special at the time I was buying them. Then a couple of my groomsmen have went to mens warehouse in other cities and can't find my group. I have contacted the store 3 times and I get told they lost my file due to a computer glitch. I leave my name and number and am told they will contact me the next day to make sure everything is set up right. I understand things happen but it seems as long as the store makes the sale after that its not a priority. Both my fiance' and I are extremely unhappy about sending my groomsmen to buy suits and they waste there time due to it not being in the system. If it were possible to give this location 0 stars I would. I have had other past experiences with this location such as being fitted for a suit, going to pick it up and discover the pants were never hemmed. This one takes the cake. My wife and I went to Men’s Wearhouse in Hickory many months ago to establish our groomsmen outfits. We left frustrated after our first visit due to the amount of time we waited to help. However, we stuck it out unlike the other customers I watched that decided to leave. Even though we left frustrated a huge weight had been lifted off our shoulders because one more task had been completed. The groomsmen only needed to be fitted for a pair of pants, shirt, and to pick up their tie. I was responsible for picking up the burgundy suspenders which were out of stock at the time. I was completely ok with coming back at a later date for the suspenders. Fast forward two weeks as the first groomsmen arrives at another Men’s Wearhouse in Charlotte to be fitted. I receive a call stating they have nothing on file for our wedding party. I call the Hickory location to find out the manager that helped us during our first visit was fired from the company and apparently failed to enter our details into their system. We head back to Men’s Wearhouse in Hickory to repeat all of the steps again and to pick up the burgundy suspenders that have since arrived. We get all the details squared away with the outfit and proceed to recover the suspenders only to realize they are navy, not burgundy. We are told our burgundy clip on suspenders will be placed on rush order since the wedding date is drawing near. Great, another hour drive to Hickory but it is what it is. I finally receive a call that our burgundy suspenders have arrived. I drive to Hickory to recover them, see the color, pay the cashier and leave. Fast forward a few weeks to the morning of our wedding. The suspenders are pulled from the bag as the groomsmen start to get ready. They start to put them on and realize they are not clip on’s, but require buttons that were never sown into their pants. Not the seamstresses fault since that isn’t what we ordered. Huge problem!!!!! I called every men’s warehouse within a 20 mile radius of Asheville, NC to find a solution and no location had what we required in stock. I immediately call the Hickory, NC and speak with Jack, the new manager that replaced the first screwup. Considering my temper and frustration, Jack, agreed to refund my money and was very apologetic for the situation at hand. I did get my money back, however, the groomsmen outfits were a flop. Be prepared for multiple trips and not receiving what you specifically ordered.

After this wedding is over, I will never step foot in this Men's Wearhouse again. They took my measurements, ordered my suit (that I had already paid a few hundred dollars for), and when the suit came in, the pants were literally 10 sizes to big. Because the pants were to big, I was informed that I would need to pay for tailor fees now. Had they explained what a "nested" suit was before I ordered it, I WOULDN'T HAVE ORDERED IT. It has been a nightmare. Now 3 fittings, 2 alterations later I still do not have my suit because they look like MC Hammer pants and the wedding is in 2 days...never again.

First time I have shopped for a new suit in 15 years. Not that I don't wear them, I just hate shopping for them. I walked in, nice guy greeted me and asked what I was looking for in a professional way. Took one measurement and pulled one off the rack. Done! Marked up the slacks for a good fit. Then pulled out some up to date shirts that would match. Perfect! Who knows I might in the mood again soon!

My sons tux didn't even fit right. Sleeves were too short on the jacket so we had to roll the sleeves on the collared shirt. Not to mention his tux wasn't ready in til the day before the wedding. Also my other sons tux had stains on it. They are so slow. Would never recommend them.

I recently rented a tuxedo for a wedding and had it fitted in a different state to pickup at this location. Everyone at this location is on point, friendly, courteous, and respectful. I was attended by the rental CSR and she was awesome in helping me out, try on the tux, and making sure it was fitted to my liking. I am using my wife's email account to post this. I had gone to this location to rent a tuxedo for my best friend's wedding. Larry helped and was very courteous and displayed great customer service. The measurements he took that day led to one of the best fitting tuxedos I have ever worn. During the measurement he was kind enough to joke around and even shared a great idea to use for the speech as the best man at the wedding. When going to pick up the suit he was extremely kind to speak to my wife and kids again highlighting the great customer service. Great experience, great staff, warm and helpful.

Oh my gosh! This person that works there, Lisa Fitzpatrick, basically saved my wedding photos. There was a bunch of miscommunication between my family and the groom’s family (with all good intentions) and the grooms father went to rent a tux when he wasn’t on the list yet. But Lisa fixed him up without missing a beat, added him to the list, made sure that his tux matched the father of the bride, and she didn’t even have to call me or the groom about it. Now everyone will match and I don’t have to stress about who ordered the mix-match tux. Everything was taken care of. Absolute life saver!!! ❤️

Horrible fit for my son's tux for his jr. prom! Coat was too tight, collar on shirt looked like it was made wrong, pants around middle of waist too tight, and the tongue on the shoes dug into the top of his feet, he ended up wearing his dress shoes instead.
