Very clear my business is not wanted or respected, for some inexplicable reason. Extremely disappointed. And genuinely offended. Will not be returning.

I had heard such good things about her work that I didn't even bother to try the dress on until I got back home. It fits perfectly and it was returned in a timely manner. He crafted swarovski crystal straps for my gown from scratch and worked with me through many fittings to make everything perfect. Cheryl and her team are amazing! Ali is incredible with his alterations, Amber is so friendly and helpful, and Cheryl herself is so personable and amazing! I don't know much about the cost of alterations, but from the estimate I was given when I ordered my wedding dress, they seemed spot on! My wedding dress was altered beautifully, Ali really listened and executed perfectly what was needed! I will 100% come back for any future alterations and recommend to anyone!

Wow! I cannot begin to share what a phenomenal first experience I have had. I took in two designer dresses that needed just a bit more room in the waist. Had I taken them anywhere else, I know I would’ve heard “there’s not enough fabric to let them out”. But Amber of Cheryl Lofton took these two designer dresses and gave them to Mr. Ali and he worked his magic. I don’t know where he was able to find the fabric, but he added the cleanest little addition of fabric to the side from the silk of the dresses, that I myself wouldn’t have noticed unless they told me. It is perefect and now my dresses lay perfectly. Payment was easy, I received a text and email when I paid my deposit and when my items were ready. I’m looking forward to using CL&A exclusively!

I can't begin to tell you what a wonderful experience I had with Cheryl and her wedding dress specialist Martha. I decided two months out from my wedding to wear my mother's wedding dress. Prior to calling Cheryl A Lofton, I had visited two other places and called four. Everywhere else was not going to be able to get the dress finished in time, didn't seem to understand my vision or were ridiculously expensive and out of my price range. When I called Cheryl, I could already tell from the conversation with the receptionist that I was going to feel much more comfortable in their hands because she assured me that nothing that I was asking for was a problem. I was completely sold when I visited the shop. I so appreciated how much they all shared my excitement and my love for my mother's dress. They really made me feel so special! And beyond that, they did FANTASTIC work. I came in for the normal fittings, but because they were doing a lot of work on the dress, I had to come in two additional times (they did not charge me any extra) and they redid things without any complaint or issue. My mother is 5 inches shorter than I am and her dress was very...well, 70s. So, Martha worked with me, to cut the dress at the waist and bring the bottom up to keep the embroidery and bead work that runs along the bottom intact. We tightened the sleeves and changed the wrist and button work. We change the bust area and the waist to be more fitted. I was so happy with the final product! My mom had offered to pay for half of the alterations because she was so pleased that I decided to wear her dress and when she called in, she just loved talking with them too. Everyone at the shop is lovely. Thank you, Cheryl and Martha, for making me feel so comfortable with the process, for your expertise and skill, for working me in on a tight timeline, for having everything done perfectly, and for sharing in my joy and excitement!

I cannot speak highly enough about Cheryl Lofton & Associates. I regularly go here for tailoring and alteration. Why you should go here: 1) Their work is stellar. 2) Their prices are reasonable and consistent. 3) They are one of the most trustworthy businesses that I have ever worked with. They are straightforward and honest about their professional opinion about whether a job is worth it for the customer, even when that means that the business would lose money. They care more about the customer than about just making money. 4) They are timely and give reasonable expectations for when you can expect the work to be completed. 5) They frequently finish EARLY! 6) They are communicative about the alterations/tailoring timing and will let you know as soon as it it completed. 7) They are kind and welcoming. 8) They are an important part of the neighborhood and are a perfect example of a small business that you can feel good about supporting. So happy with Cheryl and her team! I have a two-piece wedding dress, and the skirt was much too long and needed to be hemmed. Obviously this is a simple fix, but it is my wedding dress, and leaving it in the care of someone else made me a little anxious. I had nothing to worry about leaving it with the team. After a quick initial fitting, they pinned it up to the perfect height and told me it would be ready in the next week! I received a text message that it was ready and when I went to pick it up, it was PERFECT. Absolutely the perfect length. Also, everyone here was so nice and they even helped me figure out how exactly I would style the dress and accessories I could put with it, as I hadn't decided that yet. Very reasonable pricing also. I was very impressed and will bring any other clothing that I need tailored to Cheryl and her team!
