I went to andy the tailor, for my wedding gown to get altered. I waited about a year after buying it, and listened to different peoples oppinions so i could find the right tailor for me. After MANY people telling me to bring my dress to andys i finally decided to do it. When i walked in i was greeted very nicely by a kind man (never did catch his name) he was very respectful, and did everything he could to make sure i was happy with the way my dress came out! The service was fast, and it was at a very reasonable rate! (We all know these things can get verg expensive quickly) after 2 sizings my dress is officially done, and it fits me better than i ever expected! He was so nice, and called me as soon as the dress was done to let me know i could pick it up! Honestly he seemed just as excited as i was when it finally fit! Andy you have on talented man working for you! Keep up the awesome work! Ill definitely be telling my future bride-friends to bring their dress to you! YOU helped my day be as beautifil as i invisioned! You're truly amazing!

The turn around time was very good and the work itself was done well enough, the problem is service. Now, I have been using Andy for the past year and I have had enough encounters with him to solidly confirm that his customer service and finished product delivery presentation is not good. When it comes to alternations or repairs, the clothes are always heavily wrinkled in the area he would work on. When you pick your items up they are NOT on a hanger and not neatly presented. Every time I or a referred friend go to him we find that he is very unwelcoming and very suspicious seeming with strong antisocial behavior that makes him hard to conduct business with (mean, even!) All transactions are cash and this makes it very hard for card users to find an ATM nearby. I don't like posting in the negative about small businesses, but I have given him plenty of opportunity to provide better service over the past year and he has failed to do so.

Not even an "one star" He immediately wanted to actually cut inches off the train of my daughter's wedding dress and we wanted no length taken off the train. He said he absolutely had no choice but to cut inches from the whole length of the train. We knew we needed the length cut in the front of the dress but we did NOT want the length compromised on the train. He told us to go buy a new dress because there is no way to NOT shorten front of wedding gown without taken inches off the train in the back of the wedding dress. We thanked him and found someone who was more than willing to keep all the train's length while JUST shortening the front of dress. Since then, I have heard that Andy has destroyed gowns in the past. Good luck if you go there and want the full length of your train on your wedding gown.

I needed to have my bridemaids dress hemmed for my brother's wedding two weeks away and Andy did it in less than 24 hours. He was kind, quick, and did a great job. As a younger women it gave me a little anxiety to have a man tailor my dress and pin it while it was on me but Andy made me feel at ease and was very polite and awesome. It isn't the place to go if you want great presentation/aesthetic and to be waited on while you're there because it isn't high end, but if you're looking for an affordable and quick job, Andy's is the place to go!

Not happy with the quality of work, my wedding dress was extremely dirty when I picked it up charged me more than he told me it was going to be. He rolled it up in a ball in put it in the bag . Now it's going to cost me more money to fix his mistakes!!
