By far the worst place I’ve had alterations done he is never there then when I when to pick my suit up decides to lie to me saying I told him a date 3 months after I needed it. Do not go here

Went to get a suit tailored. Sign said open, but when I walked inside no one was around. Stood around for a few minutes and waited but no one ever came to the front.

If I could, I would give 0 stars. In my opinion, he needs a shop manager or someone to handle his schedules and communicate to his clientele, because he can't. I brought two coats to his shop to have the sleeves hemmed in December of 2016. I asked him if I could pick them up the following day and he told me he would have them ready. I showed up the next day and they weren't ready (okay, not a big deal). I asked them when he could have them and he told me to come by the next day. I show up and low and behold, they were not ready. I then asked him again and he said to come by later I the day. I called around 6:00 in the evening and he didn't even know what I was talking about. I told him I would come by in the morning when he opened to pick them up because I needed them that evening. I stop by in the morning and he isn't even there!! That is another problem he has...he doesn't seem to be there during his posted business hours a lot of the time. I finally get a hold of him and told him that I need the coats. He told me that he could have one ready in about two hours...I told him that was fine. I come back after lunch and he is just now starting to work on it! I finally get it and ask when I could get the second one. He told me he would have it in a week. I call a week later and ask him (again, he didn't know what I was talking about at first). He said he would have it the next day (you would think I would learn my lesson by this time) but I told him that is fine. I come by the next day and he isn't there...I call him on his phone and ask if it's ready and he told me he could have it on Monday...I live out of town and told him I was leaving on Sunday. I then told him I would be back in about a month and I'll collect it then. I come by a month later...IT ISN'T DONE! I was furious at this point...especially having already paid the $80 or so he charged me up front!! I told him that I would send a family member to pick it up next week but that never happened. Now, in the end of May of 2017, I finally got the coat that I brought in just over 5 months ago to have the sleeves hemmed picked up. Needless to say, I will not be back.

I would avoid this place at all costs, I left a jacket here three weeks ago with the promise it would be finished. I have tried three times to pick up the jacket now and he’s not been at the store despite the store front saying open and the hours posted. Instead I’m told to keep coming back at a later time when I call the phone number. I need the jacket for a wedding and after spending over $100 I doubt I’ll get it back in time.

Mario is a 5-star tailor. He is very professional, timely and so nice. He altered, well somewhat remade, a bridesmaid dress for me and tailored my sons suit pants to perfection. I would entrust him with any future alteration needs. Highly recommend him!

Do NOT bring your clothes here. I paid Mario $135 to tailor 5 skirts & he repeated lies about when they will be ready & pushes the date back over & over again. I have been waiting 3 months to get the last skirt back from him which is still not ready. When I call he is full of excuses as to why it's not ready & at this point i feel like I've lost out one on skirt & the money I paid him.

Mario is very friendly and does excellent work, I went in to get pants altered and brought in and all I can say is that they came out better than I had hoped. Very timely and I will be coming back in the future, I highly recommend.

I dropped off a leather jacket 1 (one) year ago to have a new liner put in. Various attempts were made to convince him to do the work but no success. I paid $ 300.- up front to have the job done. The only way to resolve the issue is now legal action...

I'd leave a 0 star if I could, I went in to get my suit sleeves altered, and so I went through the standard procedure. Found out it was 50 dollars, competitors in Lafayette only charged 25 MAX. Anyways, I paid, and as I was walking out another one of his customer came in to pick up his jeans Mario said he was working on it rn, but had to stop because he was handling a customer(myself) well... according to other customer, his order was placed a week a ago... worried for my own suit, because i need the suit for a wedding, I asked for a refund. And that's when we got into a disagreement: he said he's going to charge me $20 dollars because I wasted his time... and so I replied, "you performed no services, why are you charging me money and not giving me a full refund?" "Because you're wasting my time." After 30 minutes he reluctantly says he'll ONLY take 10.... Anyways long story short. I got my money back after Mario wasted an hour of my time, because he didn't want to issue me a full refund, for a service he did not perform.

The worst place ever, lies a lots Bring my dress much excused for 2 weeks I not recommend this ...... if you want to be happy never come to this place, not serious in all, I very disappointed to be with this people for many days, lies and more lies I'm glad I never paid first, he ' trying to charge me before I pick up my dress I never doing this crap people need be respect for another Not recomen this ugly place please take care!

He was a week late and did an awful job. Jeans are ruined now and I paid $85 for him to tailor two pairs of jeans. One was awful, other is wearable but are now high waters because of how far he hemmed them and he said he can't fix them. Broke college student and he deserves not even 1 star.

Wow... This is probably the best transaction I've ever experienced, period. Mario is a consummate professional, and a master of his craft. I had a wedding on Saturday and brought my suit to him on Monday with quite the list of alterations. Waist suppression in the jacket, sleeve length, leg width, break, pant seat, etc. Mario told me to come back Saturday and it would be done. Needless to say, I was a bit nervous about being so last minute. Saturday morning, my suit was perfect. Mario did exactly what I wanted. On top of all that, I realized that morning that my shirt needed serious work too. Mario had it done in about one hour, and pressed my shirt and suit by 11:30 that morning, and I was good to go for a 3 o'clock wedding. Needless to say, I am extremely impressed and appreciative of Mario's hard work and professionalism. His alterations were precise; essentially perfect. It's hard to believe it's the same suit. I will wholeheartedly recommend Mario to anyone who asks, and after this experience, I won't go anywhere else. 5 stars.
