UNBELIEVABLE, SO FINE, INSIDE THE JACKET HAS NO THREAD MARKS from the several decals I asked to be sewn on, INSIDE lining you can't even tell... I swear the seamstress waved a magic wand... now THIS, My jacket is priceless, thank you, you are one in a million ♡

I read these reviews on my business, yet going through invoices the majority of said reviews are not reliable or even had alterations done in my shop. Our performance is not based on Google reviews. 11 1/2 years and 34 years living in Coos County I have a customer base from Portland down to Brookings. Just a tid bit of information I just finished a rare Seahawks jacket for a famous singer Ciara, wife of Russell Wilson who is Seahawks quarterback. My business ethics in our community I carry proudly. I also work with North Bend police and fire department, Coos Bay City, Coast Guard, Navy, Army, Marines etc... I have supported many fundraisers and support local businesses. Most negatives comments are people upset for wait time, my business is in high demand and at times we are a bit slower than usual at peak seasons. We are not a one size fits all business!

My daughter was married earlier this year. I finally found a beautiful designer dress on line and ordered a size that I thought would "work". Received the gown in the mail and of course it did not fit correctly. Took it in hoping that this full length lace gown could be changed to my body. Elizabeth's Alterations made it happen! She mad it fit perfectly and beautifully! There is no where else that I will ever take any of my items!!!

Elizabeth Does wonderful work! I gave her my wedding dress three weeks before I needed to wear it and she had it done a week later! Even had time to make a bow tie from the scraps! I’m exited to reveal my dress to him by putting his tie around his Neck. Pictures to follow!

Just the best customer service. Elizabeth is so hard-working and kind. Absolutely recommend to anyone whos not feeling confident about ANY outfit.. Take it in! My brother went to her and she made his jeans look even better than when they were new. I had an alteration and she asked me to call if i needed anything. I asked to have the waist sinched a little more, when i insisted on paying her more for her generosity and patience, she refused and even offered to fix the buttons on the jacket i was wearing for free. Bless her heart and Elizabeth's Alterations!!

Our bed loving dog accidently ripped the down blanket. It was a mess! I managed to contain the feathers enough to bring it in for a proper mending. Now it looks amazing! Despite the nightmare of working with more down then feather she managed to fix our favorite blanket so you can hardly even tell its innards were once flying everywhere. I am truely grateful for her hardwork and would highly recommend her

I gave my wedding dress to Elizabeth Alterations in early May, she had told me that the dress would be done in a couple of weeks. Then, prom came, understandable that she should be busy during this time, however, my dress should have been finished before starting on prom dresses. It wasn’t tell the middle of June that I got my dress back. But that was not the only issue I ran into with this company, I had heard about a girls dress being runied by this company, so I insisted that Elizebther her self worked on my dress. I was promised that she would be the only one working on the dress. When I picked it up she told me all about how her assistant worked on it! Really? So she lied. Also, during my fittings her and her husband would say things like “if I know it would be this busy today I would have stayed home” and talk down about other busyness people in the area. They made me feel like I was a burden for giving them business. I’m giving them 2 stars only because my dress turned out okay and they have good prices.

I now see I should have check here first not a gd review in over a year. Take some material in to be cut and hymned @ my specified measurements in to Squars, not a difficult task. On the 9th I was given a week quote and $70.00 price it is now the 21st and I just got my finished material. Wich 3 of the pieces are incorrectly done and I dont have 2 weeks to let them fix it. This business has coast me time and money by not doing what they quoted in the time they quoted as this is a project for my business and being a week behind now has coast me hundreds and these owners just blow me off when I said something about the time line and losses. Also they didn't even bother to offer a discount for their mistakes and extra week they took. I will mow have to rebuy material and start over and a coast of 25 in material and 70ish to have hymned again. We Will not be a return custom ever and word of mouth is a business killer. Gd luck Elizabeth. Update after getting back and looking over what my seventy dollars paid for the back drops and side pieces are not the correct measurement and 3 of them are all bunched up where the hymn is and wont lay flat as they should also the white one is an inch wider than the rest and then was to be aswell as most of the hymns aren't even straight or folded straight or the same and a weak single stitch was use and the excess string wasn't even cut off. I will now be seeking a full refund and repayment for material and may decide to go after lost time and business. You cant treat people this way and do horrible rushed work.

Horrible service. Had my dress for a month. It needed 15 min worth of work and she barely had it done the evening before the wedding. No stress there, right? If your clothing is important I recommend you take your business elsewhere.

Not a good business, the owner acted snoody when I called. I was in a hurry and needed the work done so dropped it off. Worst work I have ever had done, the dress that I spent hundreds on looked horrid and she had NO SYMPATHY for the poor alterations she did. I DO NOT recommend.

First off... screw the haters. Second off... being one of the only alteration people in this county, it's a no brainer she is busy and will most likely take a while so if you don't have patients then I suggest learning how to sew yourself. Third... Elizabeth is an amazing person and her work is FLAWLESS!! She has never screwed up on an order for me. And I have always gotten my order finished in a timely fashion when she said it would be done. I never have to stress with her. Elizabeth is the only person I will trust to do this type of work. She is professional, funny, kind... just an awesome person and I love her work. I will continue to go to her as long as she is in business. If I could give her more stars I would, because she deserves it!!

I have found a new place take my clothing items to. I had recently bought 2 pairs of jeans and within a month the zippers in both started failing. They would just slide down no matter what. The thought of buying new jeans when these 2 pair were only a month old just did not sit well with me. I already paid over $100 for them and they had that 'perfect fit'. So I found Elizabeth's Alterations. Took my jeans in on a Friday afternoon and asked how long it would be till I got them back (I was trying to figure out if I would have to buy a new pair anyway). She said sometime next week. Sounded great to me. Well come Monday morning I received a call from Elizabeth's - my jeans were ready! I went over on my lunch break and picked them up. I am more than happy with the work she did - and just super thrilled on the speed of the repair. So if you are looking at getting some mending done - I highly recommend Elizabeth's Alterations to get the work done. Super friendly too!

I usually don't write reviews, very disappointed with the quality of service I received being a "loyal customer" especially. **I agree with other customers, I definitely would not recommend** I've done business with them couple times, but the last recent one wasn't pleasant one. Had to wait over 2 months to get few items I dropped off, I would call them every 2 weeks and keep getting same answer "WE ARE BUSY" okay, but shouldn't suppose to be first come first serve. If they knew they'd be booked for 2 months why agree to take my service and keep telling me you're busy in an annoyed way. On top of that we were overly charged, when they should've compensated for the delay. It's just beyond ridiculous, I will not support such people will go elsewhere next time.

Said the item would be ready in a couple weeks but took more than a month - later explained in an annoyed fashion that there was "only one person working too many hours". Perhaps she should have let me know that ahead of time. No, you're not the only one in Coos County to do alterations. I can have a seamstress friend help me but I wanted to support a local business. Was extremely unprofessional and rude, acted like she was doing me a favor by accepting my business (however small) and continually told me how busy she was. Charged me for Squares fees...horrible customer service. Horrible. If you can't handle your customer base, don't take on the extra customers or hire more help.

I cannot say this enough, ELIZABETH'S is the place to go for all your alteration needs!! Wonderful customer service!! We got our daughter's prom dress thru mail order only 2 days before prom, needed alterations and Elizabeth didn't hesitate to get us right in straightaway!! She made my daughter feel absolutely stunning and had the dress altered PERFECTLY by the morning of prom, IN LESS THAN 36 HOURS!!!!
