I received my bridesmaid dress shortly before my friend's wedding. I called Busy Bee Tailor on Saturday morning to ensure that they could shorten the straps of my dress by Thursday since the wedding was on Friday. I was assured that they could. When I took the dress in that Saturday, again I asked if they could have the dress ready for me on Thursday. Again, I was assured, yes, yes, we can get that done. i stopped in Thursday at 5pm (they close at 6pm) and low and behold my dress had not been touched. She told me to wait 15 minutes and she'd get it done. Being that I was on my way to the rehearsal I told her that wouldn't work. She then changed it to ten minutes. Again, I told her that wouldn't work. She told me to stop in after the rehearsal dinner which was great but highly inconvenient. When I did pick up the dress she charged me full price. I told her that was upsetting since she really didn't have it done when she said she would. She told me about sometimes you're just so busy you forget things you need to get done. She told me she steamed it and normally that is $10 but she was giving me that for free even though i didn't request it. I will never go back there.

Awesome! I have been to Busy Bee twice now, and the main gal has done excellent both times! I used to go to Keo's Tailor on the Southside, but was charged $50 to have a jersey taken in and slimmed down in size. It was even done incorrectly. I brought the same jersey here to Bust Bee, and she did it for just $20 for BOTH!

Told me 10 days to modify 2 suits. Went back 11 days later to pick them up and was told oh we forget to do them. Well now I have an interview the next day. Go back the next day to pick them up and one of the suits still had pins in it so they half altered it (of course the suit I was planning on wearing that day). In short had to make 3 trips to pick up 2 suits. The price was high as well. Apparently hemming pants and bringing a jacket in with no sleeve alterations costs 50 dollars (super high/I was shocked) with no discount for my inconvenience of 3 separate trips. Go elsewhere. This place is terrible and i needed to get one of the suits re-altered.

It was 10am and I noticed that 1 of my pant leg hems came out. I was freaking out because I had a meeting at 11am... I called Busy Bee and without an issue she fixed my pants within 2-3min! She was very professional and I'm grateful for that considering she had to see me in in my boxers while she sowed my pants! haha I'll be going back, if need-be, great service!

I just picked up my wedding dress from Busy Bee. It's a very intricate lace dress and the alterations were done beautifully! She added a bustle that is draped perfectly and very well hidden in the lace detail. She was patient and showed me several times how to bustle the dress so that I can explain it to my MOH. On top of all that, that price was very reasonable! I will use Busy Bee again!

I needed to get a bridesmaid dress altered. I was in and out in less than ten minutes when I dropped off the dress and when I picked it up. She does great work and it took less than two weeks to finish the dress, even though I wasn't in a rush. I got a new zipper in pair of jeans as well. She's VERY reasonably priced. I've paid a lot more to get dresses altered. I would recommend her to anyone.

I've gone to her with all sorts of random jobs over the past several years, but this time was ridiculously incredible. I practice jiu-jitsu and if you're not familiar with the gi's used in this martial art, they are made of an incredibly heavyweight cotton. I'm talking heavyweight as in like nothing you've probably ever worn, unless it was a canvas tent you slipped on! I needed the sleeves shortened up by approximately two inches. To complicate matters further, this was an expensive gi that came with a designer inset sewn inside the bottom edge of the sleeve containing the manufacturer's logo. Not only did she shorten the sleeves, she removed and replaced that designer inset. Honestly, I couldn't tell that it wasn't the original work. I was blown away that not only was she able to work with this super heavyweight material, but she was also able to replace that inset. And here's the stunning part, she only charged me $15!!!!! She's not super speedy, took 7 days, but she was clear with me from the beginning on the time expectation and come that following Friday just like clockwork, it was ready. Her work is impeccable and her prices are amazingly cheap!

Wonderful place for wedding dress alterations! I came here to have my wedding dress altered back in December (2017), and I'm so glad I did. She did an amazing job bringing in a lace bolero that I paired with a strapless chiffon dress. It didn't have seams to start with, and even though it did once she was done (it was unavoidable), it still looked like a seamless piece of lace! The altered hemline was so well done, it looked as if it came that way. Overall timeframe was good. I dropped the dress off the same day I called, and it was ready within a few weeks. Also, the cost was less than we were expecting, so that was a definite bonus. I got so many compliments on my dress and can only think I have Busy Bee Tailor to thank for helping my dress turn out so well. Highly recommend!
