If I could give no stars, I would. Bought a mother-of-the-bride's dress on sale in Indy for $150. The dress had a sheer overlay. I Ineeded it shortened on the hem and sleeves. I brought it in nine weeks ahead of the wedding. The dress was done on time, but I about fainted when I saw what he charged me--$163! The alterations cost, way, way, way more than they should have. There wasn't that much to do on it. Unless you are filthy rich, steer clear of this guy.

I echo JB.'s assessment of the personalities that own and run the shop. Dominic is great though, so try and interact with. Pro: The tailor work is fantastic. I've taken everything here (slacks, blazers, sport coats, dress shirts) and my wife has also (skirts, slacks, work shirts, dresses) and everything always comes back the way we wanted. One time, my pants were too tight due to a measurement error and Dominic gladly took them back and fixed them, no fuss. The prices are reasonable for most things (I would suggest doing simple tailor fixes like hemming at home or take them to a dry cleaner) - $30 for full dress shirt slimming (sleeves and torso) and ~$35 for letting the waist out of pants. They even do leather! I had leather elbow patches sewn on my tweed blazer and...it looks awesome. Cons: It takes a while for you to get your clothes back. I don't mind this, but I imagine a lot of people do. It takes 2 weeks minimum to get your clothes back, longer if you take it when they're busy. In my experience, every good/great tailor has a similar wait and this should just be built into your expectations. I've had things done sooner, but...they didn't turn out so well. You can only use your credit card once here. So, you either pay it in full when you drop your clothes off with your credit card, or you pay 50% (which might be mandatory as a down payment) with your card and pay the remaining balance in cash when you pick your clothes up. The cost of the work isn't itemized on your receipt. It's usually written on scratch paper, totaled, then added to your receipt. Yes, this is a mom and pop shop, but I don't like this...ever. So, I always request to have my expenses itemized. You should too. The work here is great, so you should go...if you're not in a hurry. I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 because, while I'm fine waiting 2 weeks, I don't like waiting longer and I usually don't have cash or checks on me (who carries checks in 2015?!), so it's an added inconvenience.

They ruined my suit. This was about two years ago, but I just remembered and got angry enough to leave this review. I brought my suit to this shop to have it altered. They took my measurements, but forgot to write them down. They called me later and asked me my inseam. I said a number I thought was correct, followed by “don’t cut it yet, I’ll come back in to get measured again”. I don’t know my inseam, that’s why I came to you! So I went back the next day. They handed me my suit pants. They were cut already. They went down to my mid calves. Totally ruined. They gave me like $50 for my trouble - nowhere near the value of the pants. And they wouldn’t even let me keep the pants because I refused to pay for the tailoring! 0/10, a terrible experience.

I had a bridesmaids dress that needed to be completely re-made because of how large it was. They took in the shoulders, waist, hips and hem for me and the dress now fits like a glove! They were very kind and courteous to work with, I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing a good tailor.

Go find someone else.They are rude,(no set pricing, seem to charge whatever they feel by looking at you. Wanted $25 to hem a pair of pants and wasn't picking them up for 2 weeks. Don't need to be treated rudely or get overcharged. Recommend go find someone else.

I'm a bridesmaid in my cousin's wedding and the store she ordered our dresses from messed up on the sizing. My dress was several sizes way too big for me and could nearly be wrapped around me twice. I couldn't return the dress because by the time they could make a new one, her wedding would've already passed. I took my dress in to another tailor in the area but they said it simply couldn't be done. So then I took it to Parisi Tailor Shop (already feeling defeated and as if this wouldn't work), but they were both very helpful and determined to find a solution. They were patient with me as I explained the situation and figured out how to get it done without compromising the style of the dress. I'd give them 10 stars if I could - thank you both for all your help!

She tore my dress by pinning it too tight. Alterations made me look terrible besides the fact she ruined my dress. Time to retire folks!

Been here a couple over times and they have great service but most importantly very convenient location. Just took a coat in to fix seams in the lining. Excellent value, very reasonable fees! I'll be back.

I had Parisi tailor my wedding dress last summer and they did a fabulous job! Everything was perfect. They had me come in as many times as necessary to make it just right, and their price was very reasonable. They even helped me add "cups" to the bust to help fill it out... Let's just say they had to spend a lot of time helping me out here, and I am truly grateful. Finally, the bustle held and looked beautiful for the entire reception. I tried to attach a picture to this and couldn't but trust me, they are great!

I has the worst experience ever. I had 2 suits that needed tailoring hem and tappering on pants and suit jacket. The owner that I spoke to made sure to say she was very professional and they were tailors. I made a deposit and was also told to pick up Thursday or Friday. I didn't mind the price if it was going to be done correctly. On Thursday I call the shop to have an update on if I would be able to pick my suits up and the woman did not know what I was talking about I even provided her with the number on the ticket she gave me and then got rude on the phone with me. She then proceeded to tell me to pick my suits up on Friday. When I came in today to pick my suits up and the work was not done right the hems were shorter and the tappering was done only on one pair of pants. I tried it on and it was short fitted. I asked what happened and the woman started to yell and say they are professionals and that they always have happy customers. Do I sound happy? I paid almost the same amount that the suit cost me and it was so unprofessional of her to yell and tell me I was the one being rude. She said she would give me my my money back but then she charged me and extra for what was done. I said I wouldn't pay for this work since nothing I asked for was properly done. Too expensive and awful customer service. Will NOT be returning there. Maybe at some point they were professionals but I was not satisfied.

If I could give them a no star rating I would. This is the worst alterations job I have ever had. I brought in a pair of pants that needed hemmed. The wife did the alteration and he took my measurements. When I got them back, one leg was shorter than the other. It was a basic type of alterations job. Nothing complicated. I think my 10 year old would have done a better job. I will never go back here. Save yourself some time and effort and find someone else.

So I take my prom dress in to see if she could just shorten it about 2 inches and she said it would cost 300$ I definitely would not recommend going here prices are stupid and the lady was very rude.

DONT DO BUSINESS HERE! Mr Parisi was nice at first but his wife was EXTREMELY RUDE! They charged me $60.95 for a button replacement, and the bottoms of 2 dress pants hemmed. Then when I asked if they could be done tonight they said no, and I have a meeting tomorrow so I needed them tonight. Then when I asked what I was paying $60 they didn’t have an answer for me. So I told them, forget it give me my pants back I can go somewhere else. The wife said no and she would charge me $50 for her time fitting me, which took 5 min. I told her about my meeting and why I couldn’t do business with them, and she called me a liar. Said “Want to know how I know your lying? Because you don’t have a relationship with god.” WHO SAYS STUFF LIKE THAT!!! So I just walked out and called my bank and explained that she wouldnt give me my belongs and wouldn’t give me a refund. The bank called them and told them to cancel the charge on my card and that it was illegal to hold my items. Then finally the wife agreed to refund and return my items. The lady from the bank told me to turn around and get my stuff back immediately, so I did. When I got back she refused to give me my pants and called the cops on me. I started recording her because she was lying and yelling at me. Then her husband slammed my phone on the table and started screaming too. The cops got there and heard the story and MADE THEM refund my money to my card. MORAL OF THE STORY, DONT DO BUSINESS HERE THEY ARE GREEDY, RUDE, and UNETHICAL! I have never been so disrespected in my life.

The work was good, but the cost was expensive given the work. Also, the owner was 25 minutes late opening his store when I went to pick up. It isn't a huge deal, but it's partially why I'm rating as a two.

This place is amazing! They are exceptionally good at what they do, and they work fast. They pulled off two alterations overnight, and voluntarily refunded my money when they accidentally overcharged me. They even stayed open 30 extra minutes so I could pick up my things late after work. I highly recommend them for any tailoring needs you may have.

I brought them quite the project! I had my daughters formal dress that needed a lot of work done and 3 of my husbands suits. They finished ALL the work within one week when I was expecting it to take two. Can't thank them enough!!!
