I chose this place because it was the closest alterations place I could find near my home. I brought a bridesmaids dress in for alterations. Very hemmed the bottom of the dress and took the straps up. The cost for these two things was $120. This seemed pretty steep to me but I didn't want to run around town to find another place. I was on my way to pick up the dress on the day that they said it would be ready and someone called to tell me that it was going to be another day until I could pick it up. I found out later that the other girls in the wedding paid around $65 for the same alterations. I will say the work that they did was good however I paid a premium and didn't have great customer service.

My mom brought my leather jacket in because I had got the sleeve stuck in the door at work and ripped it, I also had them fix an issue with the seam around the zipper. I went in to pick it up before work today and it looks great, and the clerk was friendly even though I was in a rush. Hopefully I don't go ripping anything else but now that I know they are there if i do I will use them again, great job you guys!

Three of us girls had pre ordered a bridesmaid dress that was hand made for our sizes, from a website, when it arrived it was four sizes to big in every direction. We took them to Marta's Alterations and they fixed everything for a great price and very fast. I highly recommended this place. The dress was made out of very delicate fabric and they fixed it to the point where it's just absolutely perfect! Thank you. I'm really impressed!

I've taken two backpacks, bibs, bridesmaid dresses, and pants to Marta and she's always done a great job. Never turns away a challenge and stays consistent. Highly recommended.

I took a pair of pants to be hemmed at Saks fifth avenue once and they did a terrible job. After that I found Martas and she does an excellent job each time. My jeans always are hemmed beautifully and the prices are reasonable. Not to mention the staff is so so friendly and I would pay more just because the staff is friendly.

Have had several things altered by Marta. Always expensive but she does good work. Problem is, you never know if your things will be ready when they have been promised. When it happened the first time, I said fine and picked my things up at a later date. Even though the phone call to let me know my clothes were not ready came as I was driving to pick them up. This last time, same thing. Call came as I was on my way to pick items up. I told them I thought this was bad business, especially since it had happened before. I mentioned that people count on picking up their alterations when they are promised. I told her that when I dropped off my items the gentleman in line behind me was told his items were not ready, as he walked through the door, so this must happen quite often. The girl who runs the front desk and made the call to absolutely didn't care, was very rude and insulted me. I picked up my items and will be taking them somewhere else for alterations. I would NOT recommend Marta's Alterations nor will I ever go back.
