The man is unsurpassed in skill, knowledge, and experience and produced a perfectly-fitting suit using what appeared to be a unique and very precise system of measurements. When I wear the suit, even those individuals who know very little of suits or more formal clothing always recognize the quality of the piece and express their compliments. Mr. Lee is absolutely a master of his craft. Him and his family are excellent. I recently had 7 items completely re-altered and the fit was nearly perfect. I'm very tall with an athletic build, so it's nearly impossible to buy clothes off the rack. Everything I do purchase must be SIGNIFICANTLY altered to fit just right. When everything came back as expected I was very pleased! I also noticed he has a good selection of fabrics and other items as well. I'm giving the rating 4 stars because the turn-around time was slightly longer than I had hoped and the prices are a bit high. However the value is certainly there nonetheless! Well done Mr. Lee! I will be back!

To date, I have had Jin make 1 suit, 2 sport coats and at least 10 shirts for me. His selection of fabric is world-class. My suit is made of Loro Piana cotton, my herringbone sport coat is made of Harris Tweed and my unconstructed summer jacket is made from Sherry & Holland fabric. He also carries Zegna and a host of other textiles, too. (Speaking of Zegna, I bought a Made-to-Measure Zegna blazer and I would bet it have cost no more if Jin would have made it for me. Plus, it would have fit better and it would definitely last longer! I won't make that mistake again.) Not only is the selection of fabric amazing, but the fit is "spot on". As you'll read in other reviews, while Jin is an "old school" Master Tailor, he keeps up on modern trends, such as having higher arm holes in his jackets and sightly slimmer lapels. And now that his son Solomon is in the shop, I am sure that the advice and clothes made at Lee's will continue to be current while still being "correct". When it comes to tailoring a garment, Jin is just as dedicated as if he were making the item from scratch. I'm tall, so if I get a shirt as a gift, it usually comes in XXL. While the sleeves and body are long enough, the shirt is inevitably too "billowy". Jin not only takes the body of the shirt in, but he de-constructs the sleeves and alters those, as well. Those shirts now fit perfectly. Buy less, choose well. You won't regret anything made at Lee's Custom Tailoring.

Professional. Strait to business. I knew that Mr. Lee was an expert when I walked in the door. However, there were 2 things that really impacted my impression: Cost - I understand that well done alterations are not inexpensive, however, I dropped off 3 shirts and 1 pair of jeans. The shirts had to be taken in quite a lot and the jeans only had to be hemmed at the bottom. It not only cost well over 200 dollars, but he didn't tell me the cost until he already grabbed my card out of my hand and was about to swipe it. I was so shocked that I couldn't even respond before it was done. Time - Again, 4 pieces of clothing. I dropped off on the 20th and was told they wouldn't be ready until the 30th which is pretty disappointing. The jeans, in particular, were my first pair (ever) of high-end denim. I lost 85 lbs and was very excited to put on these much, much smaller, fashionable jeans and I am a little bummed that I don't get to actually wear them until 2 weeks after I spent all of that money. Now, I don't have them back yet, but I expect that these clothes are going to be pristine. This guy was professional and friendly, I would just expect to spend quite a bit of money if you come here. One of the things that I did was take some of my favorite old shirts (from before I lost all of this weight) and have them taken down to my new size and I honestly would have rather just bought new shirts. That being said, I will continue taking all of my new clothes here of the quality is as good as I am expecting.

He has an eye for detail and is incredibly knowledgeable. He took all of my measurements and designed a custom tailored suit perfect for my dimensions. He guided me on picking a fabric, jacket buttons, and even the lining of the jacket. He even gave me advice on how to wear the suit and how it could be worn dressed up or dressed down. I would highly recommend anyone to have a suit made here as they are made to be worn for a lifetime.

Lee's is the go-to tailor in the city for suits and shirts. I have found the materials and fit to be excellent -- their attention to detail is superb. The whole process, from start to finish, is easy and efficient as well. In my view it is well worth paying a little more to get a much better fitting, longer lasting suite/shirt compared to the off-the-rack alternatives. I also go to Lee's for simple alterations since I know it will be done right (with the same attention to detail as with their suits).

I exclusively now use Jin for any alterations. When you invest in the best, it only makes sense to get the best fit possible. I have had alterations done by what's supposed to be the best stores in the country.....but ultimately had to take to Jin Lee to correct. Fit is EVERYTHING! Additionally he made me the finest top coat that I have ever had....you can have the same...if you try...you will love it.....no other tailor like Jin Lee....tried and proven!

I just want everyone to know if you are looking for the best of the best! Tailor than go and see Jin Lee this guy is top notch! And is truly on another level! I was very impressed when walking into Jin's store he himself greeted me right away and was super friendly. I have recently wanted to step up my dress attire so I decided to go and shop at a well know clothing store and spent some money, after getting my clothes and trying them on I was very very disappointed with how much I spent and what I got! So I decided to take the clothes to Jin the master tailor, right away! Jin pointed out exactly what was wrong and I told Jin what I wanted and he said no problem! I will fix everything for you and will make it right. I then proceeded to ask Jin about making me some shirts and I decided to go ahead and have him measure me up right there and have one made because I was so impressed with MR Jin Lee and I wanted to have a shirt made. He walked me through the process and made sure that I got exactly what I wanted!! Jin's pricing is was very reasonable for what all you get. I'm in the customer service business and I will never go anywhere else but to Jin Lee's tailoring.

Mr. Lee makes very high quality made-to-measure suits. I had my measurements taken in June and just went in for my fitting and everything was phenomenal. I added a vest during my fitting and Mr. Lee told me it would be no issue to have it done within my time frame. If you have time and money for a high quality suit, Mr. Lee should be your first pick.

Mr. Lee was a pleasure to work with, always acting professionally and answering all my questions as a young guy receiving his first high quality suit jacket. The jacket turned out incredible. It fits great and looks great, and Mr. Lee even threw in a tailored shirt to go with the jacket. Highly recommend.

This would be a great place to get custom tailored clothes. I recommend making an appointment as the place was very busy. There are not a lot of sales associates so you may have to wait. Luckily there are nice cozy chairs for just this thing. They have a great selection of dress shoes and boots too for men, including Alden and Wolverine 1000 Mile.
