I brought in a pair of jeans to be altered and tried them on for a fitting to reduce the length a bit, and reduce the legs a bit so they are not so wide, and more contoured to my physique. They said it would be done in about 2 weeks. Two weeks passed and they called me to come in and do another fitting, and the jeans were still not done yet. I said ok, and came in and did another fitting. After waiting three months, they called me again, and asked me to come in and do another fitting (a third time wearing the jeans so they could mark it with chalk, put in the pins, and take measurements), and of course the jeans were still not complete.
My first visit was October 10th (2018), and on December 21st they called for me to do the third fitting. I don't know why it was so difficult to get it done. I don't know why it took so long. I don't know why they kept asking me to try on the jeans and do another fitting. I've had dozens of pants altered over the years and have never done more than one fitting before. They asked me to do two fitting, and I thought it was weird, but I agreed. After the third request, and two months passing it did not seem they would be able to ever get the job done, so I requested they return my jeans and I will take them somewhere else - a place they can actually get it done without wasting so much time.
