Hannah is incredible. She altered my daughters wedding dress with incredible talent and ease. She was under a very short time line and bent over backwards to complete major alterations in a week's time. She removed shoulder straps and made the dress a sweetheart neckline with a plunging back. Huge job since the dress has multiple layers, pearls, appliqué, etc. Hannah was very accommodating with my daughters schedule. Everyone at express alterations was kind and extremely helpful. Class business, I will be taking all my alteration needs to them in the future.

I seldom write reviews, but my experience was so dreadful, I felt it warranted a warning! The Carmel location had my wedding gown for months. On multiple occasions, I received calls that the alterations were complete, only to come in and discover nothing had been done to the dress. On one such occasion, I arrived to find a piece of computer paper on the door with a message that the Carmel location had closed and all items were moved to Westfield. Upon traveling to Westfield, I discovered that my gown was believed to be at the Fishers location. After two more pinnings, a trip to Fishers and two trips to Westfield, I received my wedding gown. The floral appliqués were frayed in multiple spots, which Hannah said she would fix and never did (I’m assuming this occurred over the months they had the dress). Needless to say, it is with another seamstress getting fixed. Save yourself the headache and go elsewhere!

They finished hemming my curtains a week before promised, for which I was very thankful. However, when I returned home and hung my curtains, I noticed that both panels were hemmed unevenly, and sloped down towards the center. It is very noticeable since in the of center the curtains touch the floor, but at the far ends they do not. This was a very expensive project, and now my curtains are ruined.

The people here are amazing! I had a bridesmaid's dress that needed alterations with a week before said wedding. Dropped it off on a Saturday and they rushed to have everything altered and was done by Thursday. They were able to do everything I asked for which was keeping the original scalloped end portion of the dress. It looks even better than I could imagine and recommend highly. Will definitely be coming back in the future.

Hannah did a very professional job altering my wedding dress. It has a fancy lace hem, which she shortened by 3 1/2 inches; she added bustle loops, tucked in the sides of the bodice, and added bra cups. It was very expensive, but the effect was spot on.

I have a Carhartt jacket that was given to me many years ago by my son. I had worn out the material above the knit cuff, actually had holes as large as an inch. It would have been logical to purchase a new jacket but I just did not like the new ones as well my old one. I had called other alteration facilities but didn't have confidence that they could make it look right. I believed it to be a difficult repair. But after speaking with Pepper and sending photos I was willing to take a chance. The estimate was a little higher fee than others butte also said she could do it in 3 hours at a specific date. I live almost 2 hrs from Express Alterations, Westfield, but I had a function near that area on a specific date. Pepper and I agreed on the date. The result is that the repair is non-detectable and done in the window of time, I am extremely happy with the results and worth the time and expense. Thank You, Pepper, I have my old jacket and it is like new.
