Avoid at all costs. Management and employees need a lesson in better business practices. Before arriving, I spoke to a woman over the phone who confirmed my order could be done within the next two days. When I arrived to the store saying I had pants needing tailoring, a sales associate told me they were too busy and there was no way it could be done in two days. He rudely replied, "If you saw how busy we were you would understand." I then proceeded to tell him about my phone conversation and he reluctantly went back to talk to the woman I had spoke with. He then returned and said they could do it. His attitude reflected that he was put out of place by me making a request they themselves said they could do.
Part of my order was to be picked up in store, and part was to be shipped to me. When I went to pick the order up in store, it was not complete. A sewing of the pocket costing $10 was not performed. Since I had to leave the store and return later waiting for them to fix it, I figured it was reasonable to ask to have the $10 charged removed- since they forgot to do it the first time. The owner initially said he couldn't do anything because it was "just a mistake and no harm was caused." I got him to finally knock off $5.
The second part of my order was to be shipped to me when completed. After nearly 10 days had passed since when they said it would be delivered, I called and followed up with them to see what the issue was. They forgot to ship the item. Again, I nicely asked to not pay the $15 shipping fee because I had waited 10 days longer. A reasonable request in my opinion. Upon asking, the associate replied, "Oh, well you didn't need them for anything did you?". Yes, I did need them. And it's common business practice to do what you say you are going to do. After some negotiating, I got the shipping down to $7.50.
In summary, this store does not care about its customers and will not hold themselves accountable for its own mistakes. Go elsewhere to a store that appreciates its customers and the value of their business. $12.50 ($5 + $7.50) was more important to them than their reputation and customer retention. What a joke.
