I've had several very good experiences getting a dress and pants altered at Clothes Fix'r. Although the owner isn't gregarious she does careful work.

Had a great experience here when getting my work pants fixed. Their new shop just north of Dupont Rd is convenient for me, and they were so much cheaper than going out and buying new pants - especially for a bigger guy like me. Pants look good as new - if you need any alterations or fixes done here in Fort Wayne, this is where I'd recommend going.
