They are professionals. I brought my wedding dress in and they made it look and fit beautiful!! I was amazed at the careful detail they took on it. They are friendly, honest (they will tell you recommendations) price is average. Maria and Regina took care of me. I am happy I found them.

Horrible place. Brought my sons outfit for his baptism. The place I guess is own by husband and wife. Brought the outfit in & the wife was there & took my sons measurements said she'd be calling me with the price. She called a week later to ask the date AGAIN that I needed it buy gave it again to her & asked for the price she said she'd give it to me before she started to work on it. That was all in may now June I need his outfit called the place & turns out her husband cant find my order ticket or outfit asking several times if I brought in a dress explained to him what it was & he couldn't find it. Calls me back 2xs asking the same questions & the 3 time says that his wife had it all along. Explains cant give me the price that I would have to ask his wife. Ok so then I call the very next day he states shes not in telling me it will be 80$. Making me very mad the lady never gave me the price so I've asked to speak to her for the past 3 days & he keeps telling me the same thing over & over again! That shes not there she'll be in the "next" day! HORRIBLE PLACE NEVER GOING BACK.

I've been going to Mr. Sorrentino's shop for roughly 10 years now and my father and grandmother have been going here for many years longer than that. I have never had a negative experience. I have had suits tailored, pants hemmed, shirts altered, and numerous articles dry cleaned and starched. The clothing always comes out well done and Mr. Sorrentino and his (daughter? wife?) always make sure you look the best. They're the best around and I hope to continue going to them for many years into the future.

Sorrentino Tailor Shop SAVED my wedding dress after David’s Bridal ordered it 6 sizes too big. The dress was discontinued, so David’s Bridal altered it for free and completely botched it. David’s Bridal told me nothing could be done for the dress, but when I took it to Sorrentino they knew exactly what to do. It took about 3 & 1/2 weeks for them to work their magic. If you’re having a wedding dress nightmare and need professionals who will listen to you and do the “impossible” - go to Sorrentino! I highly recommend.

This place is grea! The work is expertly done and I did shell out a bit of penny but it was worth it. I brought in 3 layer dress and each hem was cleanly done and altered so I could jam the night away in gown without fear of tripping or dragging a beautiful gown on the ground

I had to force and ask questions through out the process. Customer service was very poor, was not informative and I didn't appreciate it as my first tailor experience.

Had a suit tailored and dry cleaned. Work was completed quickly. Had a little bit of difficulty when discussing cost (slight language barrier). In the end, I was charged as I expected.

Feels like family. One of the last places where you can adjust your jacket fix your pants or dry cleaning. Straight forward and good experience always. They don't take you to the cleaners!

They did a great job of tailoring my dress shirts. They also did a great job of installing Million Dollar Collars in my dress shirts and polo shirts.

I brought in my bridesmaid's dress for my sister's wedding. First of all, one of the female tailors told me she couldn't alter the top because of the boning and suggested I get a push up bra. I was skeptical, but decided to trust her because the reviews were so good (?) and she was the expert. When I got it back the top looked ridiculous. Putting on a push up bra just added to the ridiculousness of the look. Not to mention the sleeves were so incredibly tight when I took the dress off at the end of the night I had deep, red welts on my arms from the pressure (and my arms are not large). The hem was also way too short. I was deeply disappointed. I ended up taking it to a second place (Lindy's in Oak Park) who altered the top without any issue. Of course they couldn't replace the fabric in the arms and along the hem, but at least I didn't feel like a balloon animal for my sister's wedding.

Don't even know if this phone number is even right. whoever answered didn't use a proper greeting than hung up on me, I called back and he didn't bother to answer. so I definitely won't be using this place for my tailoring. Thanks

I highly recommend this place! I needed my Jcrew wedding dress tailored and when I walked into Sorrentino's tailor shop I was immediately welcomed. Maria was such a delight to work but most importantly she did an amazing job on my gown. They are open on the weekends which is a plus for me since that was the only time that I could go in. I tailored the dress based on her expertise and I thought it looked amazing! I will continue to bring all my tailoring clothes to her and her husband.
