Never used the service but the price went up 30 from the time I called and inquired till when I arrived. It was expensive 6 minute drive I guess.

I really did not want to be the first person leaving a negative review but I think I have to. I went to this shop by my friend’s recommendation and gave them 3 slacks, two jeans, and a suit jacket to tailor them. They said it will be ready by next Monday (today) at 2pm. I got there at 2:30 and the door was locked. A person opened the door and it was neither the tailor guy or the assistance but a person with her baby (maybe a family member). I gave her my tickets and she looked for my orders but could not find them. She eventually found them hanging on a rack that has ‘unfinished’ works. None of my things was ready to be picked up and it seemed like they did not even start working on them. The person in the shop simply kept saying “No finish. I am sorry. No finish.” I mean, they had my number so they could call me if my orders are not ready and that’s fine. They did not do anything until I drove 30mins down from Evanston, finding out that nothing is ready. I liked when they measured and told me the price cuz it is affordable. I am hoping they will do a good job on tailoring my clothes but for my experience of customer service today was very disappointing.

Courteous, fast, skilled tailor at fair price. I brought in some vintage clothing that needed some simple alterations and another time full length curtains that he made into cafe length, including one panel he made into two curtains. I was pleased with both experiences with Mr. Perez.
