I just left Pappy's had a dress I needed taken up on the side seams... too large. Typically you try on the dress but I didn't want to, I am a seamstress and had measured at home asked for a measuring tape and pin to pin it (no pins at home readily insight). Gentleman at desk accommodated me then the owner I guess comes over and was not understanding what I wanted. When I tried to show him by pinning after using the measuring tape he just shoved the dress and told me to go somewhere else and that I didn't need the measuring tape. Really sir that was RUDE, DISREPECTFUL and UNNECESSARY. Yes you would like to pin it yourself BUT I have a right to give you what I want done also. Had I been allowed to pin the side seam everything would have been fine. As a result I will not patronize this shop, many more alteration shops in the south burbs. For me to write this review it was NECESSARY. Good business practice is to LISTEN to your customer and in the end service them if possible. Gigantic FAIL. That was my experience and you will more than likely have a better one...
