That’s Polish old lady which is the tailor there is soo rude! I have no idea where the hell she came from! Plus she is asked for 10 at the beginning and the end she asked me for 20 because it took longer time and she didn’t expect that!

Daughter of the tailor here, We have been a family owner business at mayfield cleaners for more than 9 years and do alterations, sewing, and even rug cleaning. We have a very strong bond with our customers and have many customers that hav been with us for years. We are flexible with our customer needs and can do last minute alterations if needs. Phil the seamstress and owner of this shop is very DISHONEST and will make you out to be a liar like she did me! I called her shop on Friday about two weeks ago to have my dress altered and explained that I needed to have it by Sunday. She stated it was no problem and she could have it done. Long story short I came in and I informed her I only needed it to be taken in by the shoulders and she said it would be easy and no problem. I asked her how much it was and she told me it would be $18. When I came to pick it up on Saturday (because she's closed Sundays) she told me it was $28. I told her that's not the price she quoted me when I came in.... She said "no, no, no, I never said that.... Where did you get that from?" and I told her yes that is what you told me. She still continued to argue that was not what she said and then she said "oh you needed it done so fast so I had to charge you more"..... She never once said anything about charging me extra to have it done on short notice. I needed my dress and didn't have the time to argue with her so I paid and left. It's not about the money but the dishonesty. I have no problem paying what is owed. However it's the dishonesty and lying that gets to me. I don't normally leave reviews but I think other people deserve to know to watch out from this woman and her shady business practices!

Took a pair of ripped shorts there for repair and they did an amazing job and it was very reasonably priced. Will definitely use them again.

I have been bringing my suits for dry-cleaning here for a little over a year. I lost a significant amount of weight this summer and as a result, one of my suits was fitting too baggy. I took the suit jacket and pants for tailoring. It was going to be a hard task to tailor a suit jacket that was already made as a "fitted" or body compressed jacket. They adjusted my pants perfectly and the suit jacket came out looking amazing after getting it tailored. They were very diligent; they had me try everything on. At first, the suit jacket still needed some work. No problem - they identified the remaining details that needed to be altered and they hammered it out of the park. Reasonable price and impeccable work. 5 stars.

I've been coming here for years, they are the only place in the surrounding area that does a fantastic job and great price... And I'm particular.. I moved out to Lockport and still drive there to get my clothes, clean and get alterations.
