I was referred to J’s by a wedding dress company on the west coast. The recommended me to go there to get my measurements and tailoring done for my custom dress. I called to make an appointment and went in the next day. When I went in she told me she forgotten she made the appointment with me and was rude and gave me the impression that she did not want me there. She measured me anyway and told me that this was something I could do my self. that was very wrong because with the detailed measurements I could NOT HAVE DONE IT MYSELF. And when I sent the measurements in there were 3 that were incorrect. I will not be taking anything there in the future to get tailored and I will NOT be taking my wedding dress there to get altered. It just shows me that she has no attention to detail and does not appreciate her customers. I strongly recommend that you take your business somewhere else.

Jolanta is amazing. Period. She completely saved my wedding by fixing my dress. It was delivered to me several inches too short, which was devastating. She was able to add a layer of lace on the bottom which looked like an original part of the dress (made it even more beautiful than before). She was so nice and helpful and did a wonderful job!! I will always return to her for any alterations I need!

I’m so thankful for the owner and staff of J’s Tailoring. I was in an awful last minute situation with my bridesmaid dress being too loose up top and too long at the bottom and the wedding being 2 days away. When no one would help me, J’s Tailoring did and they did it out of empathy for me and my situation. This was also a holiday weekend I will add! The owner could have easily told me no way but she helped me and got it done the very same day! I will always be grateful to them and my Tailoring needs will always be here as well as my recommendations to others! My dress was perfect for the wedding thanks to them! Thank you all!

I am extremely happy I found this place. The quality of the work is amazing. I couldn't find a tailor who could alter men's pants/suits in a slim cut. The website highlighted what i was looking for so i gave her a try with a few articles. She was the first that I found that could do it and do it well. I've now taken in 3 suits and multiple pants and i am thrilled with all of them. I have found "my" tailor.

Pretty disappointed, I had two dresses taken in here and neither ended up fitting very well. Instead of taking in the waist like I asked, she said it would be “easier” to just shorten the straps. I ended up with extremely tight arm holes and a skewed neckline on both dresses. I paid about $70 total.

Jolanta is amazing to work with for wedding and bridesmaid dress alterations. She did both for me 7 years apart and her work is consistently excellent. I had SO MANY compliments on how well my wedding dress fit me and I felt amazing in it. Never had to fidget with it because it fit like a glove. She really knows what she’s doing.

Hello everyone, my name is Jolanta and I'm the owner of J's Tailoring shop I'm writing this post because I just can't look at this and don't do nothing about it .It is about the person Tulip Smith if this name or person even exist, that wrote a horrible review on February 11 ,2017,about getting her wedding gown fixed here.I don't know who you are and why did you post such a lie, you never been in my store and never had any appointment for a wedding gown fitting, shame on you of doing this,I would never say such a thing as wrote to my customer.I got so nervous when I saw that post that axidently post back a wrong public reply,anyway it's just so not fear when somebody does that

I came in with a suit top to have altered (for my wedding). The suit fit me very well, but the armpits were such that when I tried to raise my arms, the center of the suit (around the chest) would puff out. I wanted to open the armpits to take care of that (so I could dance at the wedding) without the issue. Yolanda (not sure on the spelling of her name) came back, looked at the fit, and told me straight up that altering the armpits would be hard, but more importantly I would see extremely little improvement. She looked at the fit and told me that it was fitting me well, and that the issue I discussed above was very common, and that there isn't really anything that can be done for it. Also, any alterations to a white suit coat (which is what I had) are very hard to hide after the fact. I agreed that the suit coat was perfect except for the inability to lift my arms without the chest puffing out. I have to giver her credit. She could have very easily lied about the need for an alteration, and taken my money. She didn't. She gave me a straight answer. And that is why I will give 5 stars.

I have been coming to Jolanda at J's Tailoring for years. She's simply the BEST!! She is unbelievably talented and is able to alter anything as though it was customized just for you. I recently purchased a beautiful dress for my daughters wedding. The seamstress from the bridal store totally ruined the dress. They tried to fix the repairs that were needed three times and each time it got worse. I finally ended up leaving the store with the dress and called Jolanda in tears asking if she could please help me. My daughters wedding was in 10 days and I was starting to panic. She told me to come in right away so she could look at the dress to see if she would be able to do something. The dress was a mess!!! The dress was all lace and beaded so this was not going to be an easy fix. She had to completely take the dress all apart and totally re make the dress for me. Within two days she had the dress completely disassembled and had me come in for a fitting. She re pinned everything and had to work fast to get the dress put back together in just a few days. It was also Homecoming that same week, so she was extremely busy. But Jolanda managed to complete the dress in time for the wedding. It was stunning!!!!!! I could not Thank her enough for all that she did and how perfect the dress was. She is not only talented, but she is a very caring person. She loves her customers and works very hard to make her customer's happy. She's a beautiful person inside and out. I will never have anyone do my alterations ever again accept for J's Tailoring. She goes above and beyond for her customers. Her work is amazing. Thank you J's Tailoring for all your long hours and hard work to make your customers happy!! Your the BEST!!
