HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. They don't know how to properly taylor jeans, or what roping is. I brought in two brand new pairs of Levi jeans to have hemmed, and I asked the seamstress specifically if she could keep the roping at the bottom of the jeans. She said yes. I returned a week later to find that the roping had been removed and they just folded up the bottoms and hemmed them. When I told the employee that was ringing me up about it, she argued with me and told me that I didn't ask for it because it wasn't written on the little yellow piece of paper she had. I told her that I had specifically asked for it and she revealed that she didn't even know what roping was. How can seamstresses not know what roping is?! She was rude to me and said "Well it's gone now anyways" [in regards to the roping], and she charged me full price.There is some sort of language barrier and I strongly discourage anyone from using them.

In my opinion, this is the best tailor shop in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. They staff is nice and do a great job with alterations. From suits to pants, I never leave disappointed. When I pick up my clothes , they always ask me if I need to try them on and make sure the work is done to satisfaction. I always say no because I trust their work. I totally recommend them for alterations.

Brought 2 bridesmaid dresses here. First time was okay. The second time they lady told me I was to big for the dress and she couldn't let it out and to maybe lose some weight (mind you I was 7 months postpartum) went back for the dress and it did not fit right at all. Had to take it to another tailor and pay double with no refund. So disappointing.

I have been using Joe's for over 5 years, everything from replacing a zipper on a ski jacket to just letting out some pants. They have always done quality work.

We have been going to Joe's regularly for the past 15 years or so. We have brought in all my daughter's high school formal dresses. We get all our jeans and pants hemmed at Joe's. I wouldn't trust anyone else.

Terrible! Negative Seamstress taking alterations,,,,she loves to say "but..." Another couple came in behind me with a suit. She ran them off as well. I paid $116 and had to go elsewhere to get the work done right! AND pay even more. Find someone else!

This place is awful. They have the absolute worst customer service skills. I once called prior to their opening time to ask a simple question. Instead of answering my simple question, I was told that they opened at 9, call back then, and was hung up on. If you don't want to speak with anyone before business hours, don't pick up the phone. Their quality of work is marginal and they are over priced. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, unless you are looking to be treated like your business is a burden, then head right on over to Joe's. They can certainly make you feel rightvat home. I will gladly be taking my business elsewhere.
