Great tailor for suit alterations. She turned my poorly fitting suit into a perfectly tailored looking suit. Doesn't take too long and prices seem reasonable considering the quality of the final product. She usually expects you to know exactly what you want done, so make sure you figure that out before bringing a suit to her.

Great service! Needed suspender buttons sewn on my suit. I called and they told to bring the pants in. 30 minutes after I walked in, the work was done.

I had to repair my suit jacket because there was a small rip along the back seam. They did it for $20 and afterwards I couldn't tell anymore where the ripped part was. I'll definitely come back again.

I went here to get my pants stitched up because they were too big and Golden Needle did a wonderful job! They either take cash or check.

Rude and condescending to me when I asked for alterations on a few items. Expressed that it would be very difficult and expensive to do certain alterations. Except that I had a tailor who had no issue at all with doing the same alterations for 1/4 the price. I’d still be going to him if I hadn’t moved!

I appreciate the quality of work and the quick, one day turn around by Maria. She was very accommodating and communicative during the entire process of getting 2 pants tailored. There was a slight hiccup where it was not stated from the start that she only takes cash or check, but overall a great experience, and I will be coming back.

Golden Needle helped me out of a jam. I flew into Chicago for a wedding and didn't realize until a few hours before the ceremony that the sleeves of my new jacket were way too long. I was in serious need of a tailor. I walked in to Golden Needle with just a couple of hours to spare, but they got it done! I don't recommend cutting it close like I did, but this place did good work, on a short time frame, at a reasonable price. 5 stars.

Maria gives me the sense that she and my clothes can talk to each other, that they understand each other, and that I can trust her entirely even though I can't understand what they're saying. I'm not sure how else to put it, but I wouldn't even consider taking my clothes elsewhere.

Maria was very honest about what could and could not be fixed about my very worn piece of clothing. She suggested in the end to not have it be hemmed to save me money knowing that the item was just too worn. Her honesty is very much appreciated. I will definitely go back to her in the future.
