Does pretty good tailoring and I’ve gone in multiple times, but the most recent time I came in she suddenly demanded I pay for my tailoring up front in cash and charged me over 50% in tax. I was pretty taken aback. Not sure what that was about considering I’ve always paid her upon completion of the tailoring, but the attitude I received when I told her I didn’t have cash on me because I didn’t expect to be paying up front left a pretty bad taste in my mouth. It was bizarre. Will sadly have to take my business elsewhere.

Disappointed to find out that she only does dressmaking when alteration business is slow - mainly in the winter. I needed a dress made - simple lines nothing too fancy - within a 6 week time frame and she was too busy.

I’ve had significant alterations to men’s suits with double vented jackets that others said “couldn’t be done.” Always faster than I expect and realistic as to when she can get things done. She’s very busy, a testimony to her skills, and I don’t have ‘rush jobs.’ Has also done several alterations that I’ve taken in for my wife. Always does quality work. Advises what can and can’t be done - which perhaps some folks don’t want to hear. Reasonably priced given her skill.

Professional, Affordable & Reliable. Have been waiting forever for a tailor & true seamstress that knows how to tailor and make clothes for a women's body. All my clothing taken to her for alterations. Her dressmaking skills are phenomenal and very rare these days. I try to have dresses made for an event or occasion coming up in the next year as her dressmaking is a service that's provided on a seasonal schedule. Tanya is the best for men and women clothing alterations and customizations.

c-. Came in with my husband who had men's pants to be altered and was told certain alterations were not possible. Went elsewhere and the same request was able to be completed in a week. Tanya also told us she doesn't like to work on men's clothing at all and prefers wedding dresses. I am grateful she told me what I needed to know so that I didn't waste my time. If you have a wedding dress maybe this is the place for you! Then again, if you have a wedding dress why wouldn't you just have the alterations done at the bridal shop you purchased it from? Can't speak on the quality of the work since I was turned away.

Needed some wide leg slacks shortened. Dropped them off at 4:30pm on a Friday not really expecting to get them back until mid-week. She called me @ 6pm that same night that they were done! Even though we measured me in flats, I mentioned that I'd probably wear them with heels.... Went in on Saturday with the heels to try them on and the fit is perfect. She only charged me $15 (when I was expecting it to be way more!). So happy I went there. Great work.

**UPDATE, SHE HAS TAKEN OFF THE PHOTO WHERE I SHOW HOW SHE LEFT THE STRAPS MESSED UP AND UNEVEN** VERY DISAPPOINTED. WILL BE TAKING MY BUSINESS ELSEWHERE. After previous disappointing alterations with my cheer uniform, I decided to try this shop again 2 years later. I took a prom dress in a month ahead of the date. The dress was a 2 and needed to be sized down to a 0. Tanya was able to do the work and it fitted nice on the body. The straps were intricate as they crossed over in the back, after her alterations of taking the straps up a bit, the design on the back was GONE. I returned back to the shop asking for her to fix it and she began to act very offended and rude, claiming that "I'LL NEVER LOOK LIKE THE MODEL AND I SHOULDN'T COMPARE MYSELF TO HER." It was a simple fix of shifting the hook & eye attachments down on the straps to preserve the design that she said she couldn't do, so I had my mother do. I HAVE ATTACHED A PICTURE OF WHAT THE STRAPS LOOKED LIKE ORIGINALLY, AFTER TANYA TOOK THE STRAPS IN, AND AFTER MY MOTHER FIXED IT. Upon picking up the prom dress, I had told her that I had another dress that I'll be bringing in shortly to just get SHORTENED. She was eager and said okay okay bring it in! Today, I walk into the door and greet Tanya very kindly and professionally. She looks up in DISGUST, SHAKES HER HEAD SIDE TO SIDE, AND STARTS TO SAY "NO, NO, NO, NO, NO". I asked her what did she mean? She then starts to say "NO, NO, NO" followed with "I'M NOT DOING IT UNLESS ITS AFTER MAY 24TH." Of course I understand prom season is busy, BUT AS A SMALL SHOP OWNER, I would have thought she would try to be polite about her inability to service my needs. Very rude and ignorant. SHE TAILORS YOUR CLOTHES TO HOW SHE THINKS IT SHOULD FIT YOU, NOT HOW YOU WANT IT TO FIT YOU, WHICH IS ESSENTIALLY MOST IMPORTANT. WILL NEVER BE RETURNING.
