Chi saved the day! I had a bridesmaid dress that did not fit me at ALL. I had it altered at another place downtown and it was an awful job. I now had only 2 days to get it fixed before leaving. Chi made it fit perfectly and for the first time I liked the dress and felt pretty in it. Most importantly, it now fit so I could move and dance and not have any "embarrassing" moments. I can't thank Chi enough for a job so well done and making me feel pretty and happy!!!

Meh. Ok if you need pants hemmed and don't mind paying cash. The door says cards accepted but they actually insist on cash. Don't bother with suits or anything more complicated if you are a man. Took 2 suit jackets there and one they couldn't do and the other still shows where it was altered. Just not very professional.

I needed a fast alteration for two suit jackets and slacks. I generally am a challenge to alter for (usually at least two tries), but Chi delivered a great fit the first time within the committed schedule (in truth it was a rush) at a reasonable price (the shop will discount for cash payment). Am very happy that I will be well attired for my daughter’s upcoming wedding!

I had Chi take in a flannel shirt for me. She took in the sides, sleeves, and back of the shirt. She let me know that I would see a seam on the back of the shirt, which I said was fine. When I picked it up it not only fit beautifully, you can barely even notice the back has been altered... you REALLY have to search for it. She also added length to a tulle skirt for me which turned out perfectly. And she did a vest for my husband, which also looks great. She is kind and professional and I am so happy to have someone to take all of my tayloring projects to that I absolutely trust. Oh, and she’s quick and affordable. Definitely recommend!

I visited Chi around Christmastime (kept forgetting to leave a review!) to have a few pairs of slacks tailored. I brought her three pairs of slacks, ended up paying about 60 to have them hemmed and altered for a more slim fit. Chi did excellent work, each pair is consistent and she completed it quickly (1 week) despite the busy holiday season. I would highly recommend her services, but know what your wanting before you go in. I'm confident she can complete all requests as long as you communicate effectively what you want. She's earned a repeat customer in me!

My wife and I have known Chi for many years. She is our first choice for any alterations, tailoring, and clothing or fabric repairs. She does custom orders. Notably, one of our largest orders was for about three dozen flannel sleeves to protect and transport framed photographic prints. Without a request from us, she double stitched the seams for extra strength. Other custom work in her shop includes many beautiful dresses and gowns. She does truly excellent work, charges reasonable prices, and relates well to her clients. She has never been rude or unkind in any way to either of us, so our experience consistently has been different from that on one of the reviewers. Although her native language is not English, she is very patient when asked to repeat so that her client can be sure the communication is clear. Chi's prices are reasonable. At least for small orders she does prefer payment in cash at the time of order. For larger projects, in our experience she accepts checks. We highly recommend Chi to anyone needing her skills.

Chi did a wonderful job on altering a Trina Turk dress that I got on sale. The job was difficult because the dress had a draw string belt sewn into the dress. (I generally wear petite size Extra Small and the dress was Small in regular women's size.) Before the alteration the dress was too long in the torso. Chi shorten the dress and it fits me beautifully. I will use her services again. I would highly recommend Chi for any project requiring a tailor. In addition her prices are very reasonably too. I'm so sad and frustrated! I went to Chi because of the positive reviews. She is very nice, we paid to have straps put on 2 dresses and a zipper fixed one. She requested to be paid in advance which I did. We needed the dresses done soon and made sure she knew that. She sent us to the store and buy our own fabric and then we came back twice when the dresses were supposed to be ready only to be told we had to come back the next day. After coming back a third time, we picked up the dresses only to get home and find that she never fixed the zipper! We have to have these dresses to wear in 2 days!! She offered to have me come back and wait while she fixed it but I'm not willing to come back over and hope this time it gets done. She is giving us a refund and I am trying to find another tailor that can do the work they promise. I will absolutely not ever use her again.

I brought in 3 dress shirts to be fitted and I am happy with how they turned out. The price was very reasonable and Chi herself was pleasant. When I came back to pick up the shirts she made sure that I was satisfied with the 3 of them before I left. There was a slight language barrier but this should'nt discourage you from coming in. Overall, I am pleased and I will be back in the future.
