Carri is super great to work with! Appointments are quick, painless, and her turn-around then is impressive. A word of advice: her prices are reasonable, especially considering her professional finishes, but if you're working with a tailor for the first time, get a quote so you know what to expect. :)

I had a bridesmaids dress I needed hemmed for a wedding this Saturday. I contacted Carri yesterday and she squeezed me in even though her schedule was completely full. I picked up the dress this morning right before Carri left to go out of town. She is extremely accommodating and very sweet! She also did an amazing job!

I waited a long time to get my pants hemmed and was excited to finally wear them. Carri only took one very quick measurement from the floor to my calf in order to hem three pairs of pants. I got the pants and one was hemmed too short and the other was only hemmed on one side. Upon further investigation, the pants that were hemmed too short were also not completely stitched! I had to get rid of those pants. She was nice but the work was terrible. Plus she runs her business out of a home with a smoker. I would not recommend her services.

Had two off the rack suits altered. One suit taken in and pants hemmed, other just hemming pants. Both done great. Very friendly service. Will have other work done later as needed.

Traveling from pocatello to meridian for the holidays, we had no luck finding someone in Pocatello who could fix the zipper on my coat. I called here while driving up, she said it was a more challenging coat. And still had it done by the next day which was perfect so I could go sledding with my niece and nephews.

I was quite nervous initially. I'm a dude. I had never gotten clothes tailored before and I needed multiple (expensive) dress shirts/pants tailored for school. I did not want anything to get ruined. However, I was thoroughly impressed by the quality of her work. Everything turned out great! Everything fits great! The owners (Carri and her husband) are great people. They are very down-to-earth and live in a very nice home in Meridian. They work "shop" is in their garage but it is not cheesy or cheap. The above comment about the smoking is false. It was an exceptionally clean place of business. Carri is skilled in her craft and she got all my clothing items back to me in the time I asked. I am not too familiar with other tailor's prices in the area, but they seemed very reasonable to me and cheaper than Nordstrom's alterations. I recommend Alterations by Carri.

Very impressed by the work of this husband/wife duo. Their customer service is simply the best. Their in home studio is very professional and has all the best equipment to do the job right. And not to mention their knowledge and skill of the trade. They can do repairs and alterations I did not know could be done. I would highly recommend them.

Carri has been amazing!! She altered a dress for myself and for my 6 year old daughter and she fixed a hem in a third dress for me. She is so sweet, very skilled, and very caring. She takes pride in her work and makes sure things are done right. I even had a loop on my dress fall open while I was trying it on and she made sure it was fixed before I left. Very reasonable pricing. Quick and efficient work. Definitely recommend!!!
