If you are a pet owner do not go to this place. They should have it on the window but they do not accept anything from a household that owns pets I had a few hairs in which came from my animals from home and they would not actually take it or even help me out in altering my pants. They literally were pretty much the rudest people ever they did not want to help at all I would not recommend this at all even though it might be cheap they do not help anyone with pets and they should say so which also by the way is bigotry and no offense should never be done.

Wanted 2 patches put on a vest. One patch a memorial patch for my son who past. They said it could be ready in 3 days, because of holidays. Next thing I know, I got a call and vest was done in an hour. They knew I wanted it for New Years Eve. Thank you for getting it done so fast.

Not sure if they are expensive since it’s my first time getting something altered. I came in during prom season and even though they were busy were able to get my dresses done early for my sisters wedding. Both dresses came out great.

Visited today to get a zipper replaced on a jacket. Called first to all if it was something they could do. Sure sure they say. I tell them it's a long zipper for a jacket. No problem they say we have all zippers in stock. I'm sure it's not easy the starting pin on the zipper is broken, i say. But they insist it's easy. So i drive 30 minutes to bring the jacket to them they look at for 10 seconds. June calls over her husband who glances at it and says how they don't have the tools to do the job and they have to order the zipper but that doesn't matter because they don't have the tools for it anyway. Extremely disappointing and a waste of time. I wish they would be honest and just say they don't have the tools or skills or whatever rather than wasting time, gas etc.

I was hosting a Valentines Day Dance and needed to get my long red dress to fit me! She finished on deadline and was able to fix another issue in a short period of time. It was perfect! She didn't charge much. I would definitely come back again. She also seems to have a lot of clients I don't know how she finishes everything on time!

My sister and I both had our wedding dresses done here. My sisters was an all lace gown and mine was a full beaded gown with a lot of damage since it was the floor sample. They fixed them both super fast for a very reasonable price! Plus they look amazing!!

Had repairs done to a sport coat, pair of pants, and winter jacket, and all were done perfectly, on time, and for a very reasonable cost. They're a bit out of the way for me but I'll continue going back - it's worth the drive. My local dry cleaner claimed to do repairs & alterations and I was disappointed with the results, but Kennesaw Alterations is the real deal and has earned my repeat business.

This place is awesome! I wish I were closer, because I would always go to them for alterations (I live in Dunwoody). I took 2 dresses to an alterations place in Dunwoody and was quoted $95 for everything I wanted done: $30 to hem a flowy dress, and $60 to take in and shorten the shoulder length on a lacy layered dress. I thought this was very pricey, so I decided to take them to Kennesaw Alterations when I went to visit someone in Kennesaw the next day. She quoted $60 for the exact same alterations and charged $55 when I came to pick them up. She did a fantastic job as well! I'm very happy. Highly recommend.

Brought in my favorite trench coat that had come apart at a shoulder seam. The coat had lining so I had no idea how to fix it myself. It took a while and the staff aren’t overly friendly but that didn’t really matter to me. They fixed the coat so that I couldn’t tell it was ever ripped in the first place. It was like magic. I will go back the next time I have a job I can’t handle myself.

I took some jeans in to shorten the hem. I thought the price was reasonable. My pants were completed by the agreed time. And the stitching looked like the original denim stitching.

I would give 0 stars if I could. I called in before I bright my comforter in because they told me I would have to in order to see what it would cost. I walk in with the comforter and the lady looks at it for a second and says "I can't do." She proceeds to tell me she can't cut my comforter in half because the season is too busy. So she turns down business! Unbelievable! I will never ever recommend this place to anyone ever!

Went in to have some sweat pants restrung and they added an elastic to the ends of the strings and charged $15 for the horrible craftsmanship, not to mention it took them 7 days to do this foolishness that we did not discuss. I brought them back and told them it was unacceptable. We argued about it for about 10 minutes, then the owners (husband and wife) argued in back for 5 minutes then came back and claimed they could fix it which would take at least another 7 days.

Make sure you get your agreement written on paper. The owner tried upping the price to 75 from, the agreed upon, 60 because the dress was very ‘wide’. The owner knew the size of the dress as my wife was wearing it in order to size it. The owner I’m sure isn’t just bait and switching us. They wouldn’t let my wife out the door with less than 65 for the dress. TG we used a credit card and can make a claim based on the bait and switch. Be cautious owner doesn’t like ‘wide’ dresses and will change price at last moment.

Terrible job. I went there to get lace sown on to my dress. When I received it, it looked bad. You could see all the stitches. It looked like a kid did it by hand. And you could tell how they messed up a couple time and tried to cover it up with other stitches. I personally could have done a better job. I took the dress to another place and they did a fantastic job. Can't see stitches, sown on properly. And they got every single corner of the lace sowed in. It looks really profecional. On top of that they are super nice. The place called Girl's Alterations. Check them out
