My first experience at HKT was to have a very expensive off-the-rack suit tailored; the result was first-class. I recently took delivery of two custom suits and I have been overwhelmingly pleased with the level of service and craftsmanship at HKT. Neil Balani has a sophisticated sense of style and an eye for tailoring for the individual. With master tailors on staff, any shape and size can be made to look their very best. From alterations to full bespoke, they seem to be able to do it all-and splendidly so.

I had heard several glowing recommendations from others on styleforum and askandyforum so I decided to drive down from South Carolina to have a top coat altered. Despite the 2 hour drive, I was not disappointed! Neil and his staff were courteous, professional, and took their time to answer all my questions. Even though, HKT deals with some very high-end clientele with sales of individual pieces costing well over thousands of dollars, I never felt any sales pressure nor did I detect any condescension. I will definitely be returning for future alterations and their bespoke service. Thanks HKT!

I'm a frequent customer at men's shops in Atlanta e.g. Sid Mashburn & HStockton, but these guys deserve to be right there with them and maybe above in the custom category. I had to get a jacket altered last October for a wedding and a lot of work had to be done on it. After looking around for tailors in the area, I decided on HKT out of convenience due to the location. But after my experience with them though, I will continue to go to them for their excellent service. Mr. Balani was very nice and helpful and spent the time necessary to help me with my alterations, and within 2 weeks, the jacket was ready and fit wonderfully. The jacket required everything from jacket length adjustment to shoulder adjustment and all the work was done very well. The building itself can be easy to miss but it's small which lends it a more personal atmosphere unlike that in a department store. A nice array of shirts and such are on display too. When I can, I will be going to Hong Kong Tailors.

Hong Kong Tailor is the best place in Atlanta to buy menswear. They will make you look great and treat you right. I've used them several times for custom shirts and alterations and come away happy every time. I got my first suit from them last year and it's absolutely beautiful. Check them out and you won't be disappointed!

I sought out Hong Kong Tailors because I had a high-end full-canvas suit that I wanted properly altered. I was referred by a few acquaintances and finally made the drive to Buford Highway to get the suit marked up. Neil was excessively friendly and attentive to my suit, my posture and my preferred fit. The prices were fair and when I picked up the work (on the day specified, with no problems) the alterations were impeccable. They were able to do very skilled adjustments to my sleeve width around the bicep (It was too tight, they let it out) and let out my trousers (small waist, bigger thighs/seat). The result was excellent, the adjustments took a very skilled eye to notice and they were executed perfectly. I spoke with Neil about their made-to-measure suits and sport coats, they look to be very well made with incredible attention to detail. In the future I will certainly consider them as an option for a quality made tailored garment. Great experience. If you care about your clothes, and want them treated well, Hong Kong Tailors provides excellent service.

I've patronized many tailors over the past decade and I can say that Neil and his team at Hong Kong Tailor are fantastic in so many ways. First, the personal, one-on-one service I get is so refreshing. Having people greet you by name when you walk in the shop is something you just don't find anymore. Second, the quality of the tailoring is absolutely first-rate. I really appreciate the attention to detail that goes into all the measurements and fitting. Truly, the HKT team is not satisfied unless you are, and they make sure that what you order is dead-solid perfect. Third, the array of accessories is excellent, and I especially respect the fact that they go out of their way to support small business, made in the USA products. Finally, the value is amazing for what you get: personal service, outstanding fabrics, high-quality tailoring, and reasonable prices.

After moving to Atlanta in August, I'm very happy to have found Hong Kong tailors. I've only had alterations done here (haven't tried their bespoke service), and each of my 6 visits there have been flawless. Prices are pretty much in line with any alterations shop - maybe just $2-3 more than the local dry cleaners for any given task. However, they've been able to do more advanced alterations that other places probably wouldn't do. And most importantly, I always feel comfortable handing my items over - how could they mess anything up when they have the technical ability to produce any of those items from scratch? (their main business is custom bespoke suits) Service is excellent. Whenever Neil (the owner) is in, he always steps out of his office to personally greet each customer.

We visited this store as an option for my wife to find a custom suit. Although we went a different route (small wedding, small budget), I want to compliment the staff. I can't remember his name but the person who helped us was one of the friendliest people we've met. He sat down with us to explain our options and helped us think through alternatives when we expressed concern over the budget. He didn't become rude or immediately turn us away. Worth visiting!

As a very tall and very large man, off-the-rack clothing simply doesn't fit me. Neil and the group of guys over at HKT have been remarkably helpful helpful in fulfilling my very specific (and very demanding) sartorial needs - whether it's tailoring an ill-fitting suit, making any number of beautiful custom shirts for me, and even making the tuxedo for my wedding. I trust these guys with all my clothing needs. They're honest, helpful, accommodating, and extremely fair. HKT is the only tailor I'll ever go to again. Highly recommended.

This guy had no idea how to alter my suits. They charged me more than 800 dollars for 2 suits alternation and failed to fix some unbalance problem on shoulder of jackets due his alternation. I had to visit 5 times to fix it. Finally he gave up but charged full payment. I had to go the other place to fix it. Never go there. It was really terrible experience.

I always had problems finding a good place to get my suits tailored, after Macy's had messed up one of my suits back in the day. After doing alot of research I decided to give HKT a try and it was the best place, I would recommend this place for anyone who needs alterations. They are friendly and do a amazing job. HKT is one of the best custom tailors out there. I got my wedding suit from Mr. Balani and it was made to perfection. The whole process from start to finish was awesome, Since then I have been hooked and bought many custom jackets. To name a few custom fabrics Dormeuil, Reda etc. Once you go custom you cannot buy standard store made suits or jackets. I will recommend HKT to everyone. You get excellent quality and service on what you pay for.

I have used many other tailor and alteration places before I found HKT. Although the other place do a decent job in hemming and trimming my clothes. It just never fit quite right. HKT provides more than just alteration, they make sure that it fit right and you look good in them. I have at least 4 shirts that I bought and had never wear them more than once. After HKT is done with them, they are now my favorite shirts! Now, HKT is the only place I will bring my clothes to. Kudos guys!

Very, very helpful. They mainly tailor or make bespoke (custom) suits, but they also have some very nice sites available off the rack. Highly recommended if you want to treat yourself to something nice.

I've had several suits and shirts tailored at Hong Kong. Until the last couple of years, I was like most men in that I "thought" my suits fitted me correctly. Not until I tried Hong Kong did I realize just how wrong I was. Its true, a great tailor can make an average looking suit look like a $1500 suit. I haven't gotten a custom suit made from them yet, but that will be my next purchase. I highly recommend. The work is second to none!

I've had several suits altered at Hong Kong Tailors - sometimes pretty radically. Neil is a perfectionist! He makes sure that everything is perfect before you leave. Neil takes better care of me that I take care of myself! I finally had a couple of custom shirts made there and they are awesome. There are too many choices for fabrics and options but Neil take the time to guide you based your style - he really takes the time to get to know his clients. I have recommended HKT to many of my friends and colleagues and recommend them to any guy needing alterations or custom clothing. I wouldn't go anywhere else!

My previous tailor was talented and knowledgeable. I worked with and counted on him for 11 years. About a year ago however he closed his operation. Given that I am particular and I have both uniform and sartorial needs I had to find a new tailor. HKT had positive online reviews and a friend of mine recommended their services. I was quite impressed with their work. While satisfied with my previous tailor, HKT possesses knowledge and scope beyond what I was accustomed. I have brought many challenges for them. Some are off-the-rack items and others are previously tailored garments from interim providers. HKT always delivers! They have earned my trust. So much so that I chose them to tailor my first custom sport coat.

I went into Hong Kong Tailors looking to get some dress shirts altered since I was tired of being unable to find off-the-rack clothing that fit me properly (typically too lose in the waist). The staff is courteous, competent, and knowledgeable, and will offer advice and explanations on any point you inquire about. Since that time I've also bought custom-made shirts from them, as the cost of a decent dress shirt and alterations come out to be essentially the same. The custom shirts fit perfectly and look great! You truly get what you pay for – I consider that if you're an individual who wants to look his best, or at any rate feel like your clothing actually fits, then Neil, George and the rest of the staff at HKT will be able to provide you with great service.

At the advice of a friend, I started going to Hong Kong Tailors to get my shirts and pants tailored a little over a year ago and I have been extremely pleased every time. Neil and the rest of his staff do a terrific job and always ensure that every detail is correct. I have always wanted to get a custom made suit and when I got engaged my wedding was a great reason to go ahead and do it. So I went to HKT and began the process. Neil and team spent several hours with me on my first visit understanding what I was looking for on both style and price point. I left very satisfied that I got the best material and best design for the suit I wanted. I also purchases a white custom shirt to go with my suit and decided to get several more during my visit and they have become my go to shirts. I have gone back many times over the last several months and purchased more. I now have 20 custom shirts from them. I liked them so much that I decided to make custom shirts from HKT my groomsman gift. And when all my groomsman went in to get fitted some fell in love with it and got their own custom suits for the wedding. My only caution is that the process especially at the start takes some time (2-4 hours) so I would make sure that you allocate a good amount of time to spend with them. Quality custom clothes can be addicting but the enjoyment of how they make you feel is well worth it.
