last week, I went to Nena's on Wednesday to receive alterations for a dress for my prom the following Friday. When discussing what would be done, I was assured that it would be of good good quality, considering her 30+ years of experience. For my dress, she was suppose to add a layer of fabric to the top to cover my cleavage as well as adding a new zipper to the back to give me a little wiggle room. I was told the dress would be done at 4pm Friday, it was then pushed to 6pm with her giving my sister attitude when it was picked up. When I went to try the dress on, the extra layer of fabric ripped (hand stitched) as well as the cheap zipper she used to replace the old one. Luckily my grandmother was able to fix the zipper enough for me to get to prom. For amount that was paid and the experiences I expected a lot more and was very disappointed in the work I received. The only reason I'm giving two stars is due to the fact I came at such short notice.

Just awesome. I had a collared shirt with a white collar. Without asking, and for no additional charge, because she could not get the collar white enough by her standards, Nena remove the color from the shirt, bleached the collar to a perfect white, stitched the collar back on the shirt perfectly. Try the other two dry cleaners and you will quickly find out that the only place you want to go is Nena.

I can't imagine how this place stays in business. Nena's husband must run most of the customers off. He harasses people who walk their dogs in the area. He actually has the nerve to approach them. I may start carrying MACE just in case he gets too close. Scary.

Poor customer service. Dropped 3 items off for cleaning on a Monday and was told to come Thursday (which should have told me something then) to pick them up. I asked the lady what time they would be ready and she said 1pm. I arrived at 3 pm and of course they weren't ready and wouldn't be until the following day. She told me she got busy with alterations like that was my problem. She told me she would deliver them to me the next day and took all of my information. Of course no delivery and I couldn't reach them by phone for days. Just picked them up almost a week later and she offered no apologies. I had to suggest a discount and she reluctantly took a couple of dollars off. First and last time doing business with people who don't value customers and don't keep their word.
