The Best! For years I've purchased many expensive one-of-a-kind shirts that just never fit me. So I never wore them. Recently I've been bringing them to Hulya. She tailors them perfect every time. It's like getting brand new clothes. I recommend her to anyone.

Hulya is AH - MAZING. Such a sweet human being and of course an amazing tailor. I'll update this review after my wedding with a photo but she took a $150 dress I bought from ebay, and made it look like a $1,500 dress. Unbelievable, she made it fit LIKE A GLOVE! As someone who knows the struggle of being a small business owner shame on all the people here bashing Hulya for not giving a quote over the phone. OF COURSE SHE CANT what if you show up with a size 27 potato sack and you want it to look like a kardashian dress? some people are ridiculous. I know Hulya has dealt with her fair share of bridezillas so she has to be careful about who she welcomes into her shop! I would recommend her and will continue to bring all my clothing to her. So nice to have someone reliable close to my new home. Thank you so much Hulya! Did I mention it only took her like 3 weeks? Extremely impressed. The worst place I have ever went to. Tried to triple charge my wife and make her pay upfront. When I said no thank you she threw the dress at her. Then tried to charge her 45 dollars for her time. Very rude. DO NOT GO THERE. SCAM SCAM SCAMSCAM

She ruined my wedding dress. My whole experience here was just awful. She tried to over charge me for simple alterations and had really bad customer service. It took her over a month to do simple adjustments and she still did not do a good job. Had to go to another seamstress to fix her sloppy hand work. Will never recommend if I could give 0 stars I would. Thank God I found another seamstress just in time for my big day

wish there was a zero star option they tried charging me triple the cost of what the rate was at other local places and wanted money up front. What kind of buissness is this there a SCAM and have been reported of SCAMMING innocent customers in the past PLEASE avoid this place

Previous review says it all- no people skills! I walk in instead of call (as the previous reviewer had poor experience via phone) to get some jackets and pants altered and she acts like I'm trespassing. I'll take my business elsewhere, thank you.

The absolute best! She redesigned my whole prom dress within 3 weeks and for a reasonable price. At first I was worried that what I was asking for was too much , but she made my dreams come true. Everything I pictured came out exactly how I wanted! Would definitely recommend and will certainly be coming back!

I was appalled by the recent barrage of negative comments about my long time designer and tailor Hulya! (Take notice that all these negative reviews were posted in the same week.) Not only are these comments false...they are made by a very calculating group of scammers that are targeting area business owners for money! They set up a scenario within the business by sending in a decoy to seem very innocent. They ultimately end with a threat of ruining the business reviews online and within the same hour..have someone call the business owner and say that they are from Google and if the owner wants the negative reviews removed they have to pay $499 by phone and they say that "Google" will remove the negative reviews! In addition please take notice of these recent negative fake reviews. I did some checking and almost all of them had previously reviewed an out of state company that is the identical New Jersey Law firm.. that is an obvious blunder on their part. They are SCAMMING area business that appear as soft targets to them! Please BEWARE these negative comments are false and orchestrated for monetary gain! Hulya is THE BEST TAILOR IN THE AREA and I recommended her highly for any design that is desired..any type of alteration that is needed and beyond! She is famous in this area and has way too much community support for this to hold water. I will share this information with area business associates and security personnel.

Knowlegeable & friendly. She knew exactly what needed to be done. It's hard to find mom & pop places, and this is one that definitly cares about you, your clothing and your appearance. She pointed out a flaw in a suits I've never noticed and will always forever know. I highly recommend her.

I went to Moda Tailor to have alterations done on my jeans. She treated me like I was part of her family. I went back again for prom a few years ago.She let me borrow a tux and fitted it to my exact measurements. She didn't charge me for the rental but she did charge me for the alterations. Did save me a lot of money.She even gave me shoes to wear, and I have big feet! i've been going to her ever since. I usually just repair my jeans because when I work out my waist band changes a lot of times so she does cater to my needs. I would recommend her 10 stars if I could.

SCAM!!!!!!!! If I could give them no stars, I would. These people are scam artists. They over charge want money up front and are incredibly rude. They wanted to charge 125$ for a simple hem on a dress. Yes the dress was expensive but if u think it is ok to tax someone because they have money your ethics need to be checked. I am not a person who leaves bad reviews but my experience was so horrible I had to. So when we asked for the dress back because we were going to take it somewhere els the lady told me it was going to be a $45 fee for her putting pins in it and tried to hold the dress hostage as payment. I have never been so disgusted with a place in my life. Never ever ever go here. SCAMMMM!!!

After many years of using Moda tailor for simple alterations (that were amazing) I had her make me a complete top for my 4th birthday and I have to say it turned ammmaaazing. The 6 reviews before this one are all scamming this wonderful business and were not real clients of Hulya's. They walked into the shop, Hulya gave them an estimate of what her time-consuming and talented work was going to cost, and they had a fit. They were yelling curse words at her because they felt the price wasn't fair and decided to write bad reviews since they had nothing better to do with their lives. Hulya is very gifted in the art of tailoring and is hurt by the ugly words these people have to say. Please do not listen to those reviews below me saying she is a "scam" because that is a lie. There are plenty of reviews below, that are Hulya's real clients, which accurately reflect her and her work. She is truly amazing and a pleasure to work with. You are GUARANTEED to love the outcome. I have been going to Hulya for about 10 years! I originally brought her a skirt on my 21st birthday and requested a hem for that night and she came through! I have been going to her ever since for all sorts or alterations. She is NOT a tailor from a laundry mat. She is a designer and perfectionist! Being 5’1 clothing is often too long and so I have had many of dresses and pants hemmed to perfection by her. I also have become spoiled by her in the sense that once you have an outfit tailored to your body, you want everything tailored! She has adjusted dresses for me to properly fit my chest and waist. She has taken the bottom off of a long dress, made it into knee length, and then took the extra material to make cap sleeves for me. I love her! She is warm and inviting. She goes above and beyond to be available and meet all the crazy deadlines ever since day 1… 10 years ago! Don’t believe those BS reviews by fake customers targeting her to get her to pay them for advertising. It is all a lie my friends! She is the real deal. You won’t go anywhere else, once you go to her. I love her and you will too!

I work at a bank and have to work with suits all the time. I don't take my suits to anyone else. I have been to many tailors and she by far is the best. Its different to work with people that actually work out of love. You always get the best result possible. I will never take my suits to anyone else but her. She is incredible. Love Her!!

This lady is a miracle worker!! I wasn’t able to make an appointment and had an emergency fix. She was able to help me in about 15 minutes tops! And I was out the door. She charges fairly for her work. If you want a subpar job go elsewhere. She’s the best and sweet too!

This is an EXCELLENT place for alterations and clothing design. Hulya is a gifted seamstress and designer. She is also kind and warm hearted. Unfortunately, the negative reviews are result of people who are trying to scam her into paying for the removal of any negative review. PLEASE be aware business owners that this is yet a new scam to try to extort money from business owners by writing negative reviews and then asking for money to remove them. If you want perfection, this is the place to go!!

If there was a zero stars, that's what I would give them. I went there today and the service is horrible. This place they have a sign that says: "Tuxedo Rentals", however when you enter the place, not only the tell you we don't rent them anymore, but the lady attendant who is very rude will tell you "goodbye", before you are done looking or contemplating the possibility of any business with these people think if you want to do business with people who will either stereotype you, discriminate you based on appearances or treat you like nothing for no reason.

Terrible customer service. I called in for information on their service offering and a woman answered my call. Her response after I asked her one question was, and I quote, “estimates are free, come in, we don’t give information over the phone” then she HUNG UP the phone. No one visits with every local business. You read reviews, visit their website, make a few calls, and then decide which business suits your needs best. There’s no information on their site, hence my call. I didn’t project any emotion or attitude. In fact, the call was so brief, there’d been time. I was simply doing my research on the various tailor and alterations shops in the neighborhood. I relocated from palm beach county and didn’t have any experience with the local businesses. I have no idea if the woman answering the phone and speaking with prospective customers is the owner; but, this is not the image I’d want my customers to be met with. If this is any indication of the way they treat their clients I’ll gladly take my business elsewhere. There’s absolutely no reason to be rude and dismissive to customers without any provocation. This is not the type of business that I would patron. A single interaction and it displayed terrible customer service. P.S. They may attempt to claim this review is “fake”; but it is not. I’ve performed other reviews on google (not many but a few) and I have been extremely fair. I was legitimately shocked about this experience. Hopefully they will take this as constructive and take the necessary actions to improve their customer satisfaction.
