My friend and I need to get our name tags sewn onto our uniforms, but we only had a day to do so and we weren't sure if we would be able to get it done in time. Mike however, had us in and out within fifteen minutes with leaving us with quality work. If your looking for fast quality work at fair prices look no further than Mikes's Tailoring.

Mike did an excellent job tailoring two of my suits and a couple dress shirts. Fair price for the work done and even though he was busy he was able to get the work done in a timely fashion. Will be bringing any additional work I need done to Mike in the future.

I dropped off a quilt to be stitched in multiple places, one place in particular was most important and Mike was more than happy to take it however, he said that it would take a few days... a week later I call and it's still not even started. He says call back in a few more days....I go to pick it up assuming it's finished considering it's been more than a week, and the quilt still hasn't been started. I finally pick it up 2 weeks later (a few days delayed on my part) I get it home and the stitching is coming undone already, and the main part that I needed stitched is it even touched.... not to mention he didn't even take out the safety pins. The service and the quality was very poor. Nice guy but I wouldn't take anything back there to be worked on.

I would highly recommend Mike to do any sort of tailoring you need. Do not be thrown off by the one or two bad reviews listed here, there will always be bad apples. I took Mike 3 suits to have the length let out on (Im 6’ 5”) and he did an excellent job at a very affordable price. He does get very busy so make sure you bring him your garment in advance.

Mike will always go out of his way to make his customers happy. If there is a problem you just have to bring it to his attention and he will rectify it. Being a small business man means things might take time. In this " I need it now" world, that is a difficult concept. There is a reason why he has so much hanging in his store, he does good work!

Mike is an asset to the tailoring profession. Mike has an outstanding work ethic and produces an exemplary product. For many years my wife and I have used Mikes services. Sure, we have shopped around, but Mike is second to none when it comes to prices and completing the job in a timely manner. He has repaired everything for us including a heavy leather jacket, hemming pants, zippers and even my old beat up wallet. I did not know if he could repair my favorite wallet. I have had it for 15 plus years. He stopped what he was doing, retreaded his machine and repaired it on the spot. I fully intended on leaving it with him if he could repair it. In today's world it is very difficult to find quality craftsmanship anywhere, but with Mike it is the rule rather than an exception! I would recommend Mike to a first timer as well as a seasoned veteran. He is even open on Saturdays which fits my busy schedule. Kudos to Mike for providing a great service!

I took 4 pairs of pants into this shop to get hemmed. The owner, Mike, measured the inseam of my husband and said he had an inseam of 29" and that the pants would be ready on Wednesday at 11am. This was giving him a week after time of drop off. Before I picked them up I even gave a few extra hours just in case. When I arrived at the shop, I was told that he had not even touched the pants as of yet but if I wanted to wait on the pants he could have them completed. I thought great because my husband needed them for the next day of work. He went to the back and then a few seconds later came back to the front and asked me what was the inseam measurement I told him that he measured 29". He then proceeded to tell me that I was wrong and that he measured 26". This went on for a few minutes. He then proceeded to hem the pants to his specifications I then came home and my husband tried them on. Some of the pants was too short making them look like high waters on my husband and one pair tone leg is shorter than the other. Need less to say I will not be going back to this place anymore. Take warning the business owner does what he want to do. Not what the customer wants.

Legitimately the best experience I've had with a tailor, for which I would easily pay DOUBLE what he asks for his work. I had him re-hem and tapir several sets of pants to give them a more modern look and had a couple jackets slimmed out and they all look perfect. Will do plenty more business with him.

Mike does good work. I definitely would recommend him as a good tailoring company. The only downside is it seemed like he could not be bothered, and then having to wait a week and a half for one pair of pants.. That's not a very good lk for customer service. One suggestion would be to invest in a debit card machine as well, most people tailoring suits would probably 9 times of 10 pay with card. Other than that good work.

There are not many options for tailoring in Daytona/Ormond, after reading all of the past google reviews I decided to give Mike a shot since he only had a handful of bad reviews. Mike and his shop smelled heavily like smoke, I was very polite with him, but seemed like he could not be bothered, and acted like he was doing a favor by talking to me. I had some suit pants that I wanted slimmed down through the legs, he said it was not possible (These pants were very floppy on me as they had never been altered besides the waist, but I have had this alteration done by many other tailors), we spoke about adjusting the waist, seat, and length of the pants. We spoke about the pants for almost 30 minutes. I also dropped off a jacket to have it brought in a bit. He said to come back in a week. I came back a week later and he never did the pants and only did the jacket even though he had pant measurements written down on the alteration ticket , he said "Oh I thought you did not want them", we talked about them for 30 minutes, why would I not want them? Then preceded to rush to do them in 2 minutes. He kept saying "Give me a break, I am not perfect" over and over. The alterations came out "Ok" on the pants, for 2 minutes worth of work I guess that is what you get. I later went to a professional tailor in a different city and he said Mike took out so much material that the pant pockets were "Micky Mousing" which is un-fixable and that the Jacket was extremely distorted due to also taking out too much material. He said it would be better if I bought a new off the rack suit, rather then try to alter the suit Mike worked on since he would never be able to make it perfect. A suit that cost several hundred dollars ruined forever. Terrible work and even worse customer service. I would rate this shop a zero if a could. Mike is not a tailor he is a very basic alterations guy. If you need anything other then very basic hemming or bringing in the waist, you will be very disappointed. He also does not take credit card, it is the year 2018.
