I found the perfect place to let my suits in Miami. The service was reasonably priced and Al and his associate did a wonderful job on my suit. No complaint on the delivery date. All went so perfect. I only miss payment by credit card and more convenient opening hours. Nothing big :-) I will do business with AL THE TAILOR again.

Truly superb suiting. Dropped off three suits and 6 slacks to have each one taken in on the sides, let out sleeves, hem pants, and let out the waist on the slacks. He is old fashioned and will pin it up on you so you can see exactly how it will look. Called me in 2 days, had no idea who was calling. Didnt expect it to be done so quick! Anywhere else I've been this would've taken at least a week. For gents, all 3 suits were double breasted and looked amazing!

THE WORST!! I decided to leave 3 pieces of clothing to this gentleman because of his ratings and because its close to where I work, when I saw his work area, it was a total mess, but given the fact that i have never had a tailor before I thought maybe that was the norm. Two weeks went by when I decided to call and check for my clothes and he said "what are your clothes?' seriously? he didn't even know what clothes I had brought, after a while of waiting on the phone he said, "its not done". No apologies, nothing! I said "don't worry I will come and pick them up". A few months went by and I discovered the bag on my closet the other day of all these pieces of clothing i had brought to him and decided to give him another chance, because of the convenience that is soooo close to my job. It has been a month and I finally went today (his phone number was down) and he said AGAIN "what did you bring?" I told him that my clothes were in a Victoria Secret bag that i had left purposely so he could find them easy, he looked everywhere in his horrible mess. GUESS WHAT!?! Nothing was done! ONE WHOLE MONTH PEOPLE!!!! I expressed how disappointed I was and that this was the SECOND TIME and he said.." you have to forgive me (like in a "you need to firgive kind of way"), Come back on Tuesday they will be ready.." I asked well at least give me an approximate of how much is going to be" he started looking at each piece one by one with so slooooowly that I said "OK just give me this and just do these 3 things!" GEEEZZZZ! HOW CAN HE HAVE 5 GOOD REVIEWS IS BEYOND ME! he doesn't even have a great service attitude!! TRUST ME PEOPLE YOU DO NOT WANT YOUR CLOTHES HERE. If you dont believe me..just go and see his work area...TERRIBLE MESS!

I needed two pairs of uniform pants hemmed. Al promptly saw me and took the necessary measurements. I was called later the same day that my pants were ready. Prompt and friendly service - I would definitely recommend.

Dropped off a pair of pants after Christmas. Was promised they would be finished 1/3. Arrived on 1/10 to pick them up. He forgot to do the work so I had to come back two days later. Went back downtown to pick them up and the work was fine. So I left another shirt to be altered/tapered. Was promised the shirt would be finished the following Wed. Arrived the following Friday and the shirt was not touched. So the same thing happened to me twice, (I was over promised and under delivered). The alterations were not done when promised. It's difficult to go downtown and find parking unless you work within walking distance. A major disappointment in service. Sorry to say Al the Tailor will never have my business again. For the life of me, I don't understand how someone can stay in business with this level of service. There's another good Tailor a block away that has never disappointed me, will keep my business there.

Al The Tailor has very nice review. But I had to wait more than 2 weeks in order to get my suit back. I had to wear it for Xmas and I could not due to the fact that it was not ready. I went there on Friday and he assured me that on Monday it would be ready.. but it was not. He did a great job but I was disappointed for the situation experienced.

I had 2 Turnbull & Asser shirts tailored and they came back perfect. He shortened them, slimmed the waist and the arms. All seams were surged and sewn neatly. Above my expectations for the low price. Very nice oldschool tailor. A+

Dropped off my suit to be tailored for my best friend's wedding next week. Being a small business owner myself, I typically prefer to support other small professional business owners - and looking at the reviews I figured I'd give Al a shot. Got a phone call saying it was done to come pick it up whenever convenient. 3 days... literally 3 days later I arrive to find a note on the door stating that Al is closed for vacation for 2 WEEKS! No phone call or anything. Seriously Al??? I had to purchase a brand new $700 matching suit as I am a groomsman in a wedding literally next weekend. No answering service or mobile call back number for pick ups or emergencies so I'm assuming anyone else's items are stuck in there as well. So thanks for that Al. Hope you have some cash left over when you return from your fun in the sun because you now owe me $700.
