I called Alma (spelling?) looking for last-minute alterations on a skirt I was wearing to a wedding. Not only did she go above and beyond to get all the alterations done in ONE DAY, she did beautiful work with difficult fabric. Now the 1-day service was a special favor to me in a pinch (she normally asks a week), but I will gladly wait a week for her work from now on. Most places take at least that long and she is the kindest lady. I would trust her with any garment. She is also tailoring a sport jacket for my boyfriend and he is so excited to pick it up next week, even just the pinning she did at the fitting made him look great!

I wanted a floor length dress altered. I had sewed it myself with multiple iterations. So, it was not very professionally done. But despite all my mistakes on that dress, I wanted to hold onto that dress. So I wanted to get it altered. The lady did a wonderful work on it. She had transformed it into an awesome dress. I love how good it looks on me. She knows her work best! The work is also affordable.

WONDERFUL! This lady did an AMAZING job on a terrible bridesmaid dress! She took this outrageously huge dress that was so wide I could pull it over my head without unzipping it and made it into a slim, fitted and dare i say, flattering dress in less than two weeks. She shortened it, hemmed it, pulled in the sides, and fixed the straps for less than anyone else in town. Amazing! I cant say enough good things about this lady. I will be taking ALL of my alterations and cleanings to her for now on!

We brought my daughter's homecoming dress in for a last minute alteration. Not only was our short time frame graciously met, but the work was excellent. She went way above and beyond what we were asking for. The dress was way too big, and I suggested to she lose the back zipper to save time, since she was already doing a rush for us. When we received the dress, the back zipper had been replaced and everything absolutely perfect. I will be using her services exclusively from now on.

Absolutely horrible! Unfortunately, Google doesn't give the option for zero stars. I was referred to Alma from a boutique I purchased my daughter's dress from. I brought the dress to Alma two weeks prior to my daughter cotillion, after a week I called to see the progress and was told she hasn't started it, which was alarming for me considering she had the dress in her possession a week. I followed up the following week and was asked to pick up the dress and the refund check was ready as well. So now my issue is at what point were you going to call me and let me know she wouldn't be completing the alterations on the dress. I went to pick up the dress the same day and the extra beading from the dress that was given to Alma was missing and there was no refund check. I'm not sure where this customer service is exceptable, but I consider it to be disrespectful, inconsiderate and rude. Now my 12yr. Old daughter has a dress that she was expecting to be done for her first cotillion that is being returned to us from a "seamstress" that's chose not to complete the alterations and return it the week of cotillion (its Mon. And the Cotillion is Fri. )

I need dress alterations 2 weeks prior to a wedding I was in, the woman were extremely friend and extremely accommodating. They were able to take my dress and get everything done before my wedding date! I would recommend 1000 times over! I will be going back for anything and everything I need in the future!

She is absolutely excellent. I have to have all of my clothes tailored and she always does a great job. In addition to the standard hemming pant length or jacket sleeve, she has also helped me with several complex alterations and clothes came out fantastic. Very friendly and professional. She takes the time to go over the alterations and give advice. I would highly recommend her to anyone in the area.
