REVIEWS OF Scioli Pat IN Delaware

Norman Shelly

Pat and Anna are by far the best tailoring experience I have had. Not only are they wonderful people, but Pat and Anna know their stuff. They have great quality suits, jackets and pants. I bought my first suit from Pat back in 2008 and have bought 5 more since. Anna does most of the alterations; superbly I might add. I had to have the alterations rushed and they were able to deliver. Highly recommend these two.

Thomas V Hartmann

Superior work, very reasonably priced. Very friendly as well! Highly recommended!

Went here last minute for some basic measurements, lemme tell you that these two are the sweetest folks. Will be coming back for sure. Thank you for all your help.

I can't recommend them enough. I brought in a baggy, off the rack suit jacket that Pasquale and Anna transformed into a perfect, custom fit. On top of that, I was in a bind for time and they turned it around in two days without asking for any kind of rush charge. Great experience all around.

Wow, I am still reeling from this experience. Overall out a few hundred bucks and just got yelled out of the shop by Pat and Anna. Here's the deal. I dropped off a new suit and some new shirts for alterations. I got a call about a week ago to come pick them back up and this is where things start to go downhill fast. The suit and one shirt were fine. For the other three shirts, one needed the body taken in and all three needed the arms taken in. Apparently the sleeves were glued and could not be taken in. Ok, if this is the case, totally understandable. Call me and I will come and pick them up. But no, he goes and takes the back in on all three of the shirts and leaves the sleeves be. Problem is, he was only supposed to do one of them and additionally now that he can't do any of the sleeves, they shirts don't fit at all and since he has already tailored them they are un-returnable. I pointed this out to him and he refused to take out the stitches on the shirt Additionally, he refused to refund all my money from the shifts. It ended up with him and his wife yelling and me and telling me never to come back. This is how you treat your customers? This type of behavior is embarrassing and should be beneath and real businessman. So while he may be able to do simple alterations, nothing complex seems to be well out of his reach. Additionally, customer service in simply not a thing here. If you have any complaints, be prepared to be yelled at and run out of the shop.

Couldn't be happier with the work done...will be coming back for every future tailoring need. My off-the-rack, discounted suit now looks like it was custom made from scratch just for me! Unbelievable job.

Kermit Lÿman III

Old world craftsmanship. Surprisingly inexpensive. 1 week turnaround. I have never had a suit first me so well.

Rob Long

I don’t ever leave reviews but Pat is exceptional at what he does and truly cares about his customers. He came in on a snow day to finish a suit jacket that needed a lot of work so that I could have it in time for my event. Highly highly recommend him for tailoring services or for suits.

Joseph Arzillo

Best tailor in Philadelphia. They can make magic out of anything! Grazie!!!

Scott Lister

I appreciate the history but I think I'll warn guys I don't think this is the place for super slim tapered pants. I felt like I had to convince him they were supposed to be snug, if I hadn't I would've come out looking like a 1920's mob boss. I live and work in center city and I'm not sure they know how modern men's suits fit. Yes he and his wife are sweet and adorable etc.

Joe Camp

Best in the business hands down. Pat and his wife truly know how to take care of their customers, by making you feel like family. From the second you put on one of their suits you feel like a million bucks. If you have a suit from somewhere else bring it in and they'll make it look like a $1000 custom suit. 5 stars from the work to the service. Joe Camperchioli

There is not a better tailor in Philadelphia.

Pat and Anna handled three of my suits including a new one and a tux. They were very meticulous in the way they worked and finished the job earlier than expected. The both of them are very sweet people to work with. I would recommend taking any altercation needs to them.

Fine Italian clothing.

Pat and Anna are wonderful tailors to work with. I brought in a suit, a tuxedo, and a pair of trousers that needed a lot of work. Pat did a great job brining in the garments and fitting them to my body--or as he says, "Custom!". Now clothes that grew too big fit like a glove. Plus they finished the work in about a week.

Joe Meloni

Simply the best. You must give yourself time when going there, but he does great work.

I'm new to the area, about 84 days. But whose counting!? I use Yelp and Google Reviews to find good help. I called and spoke to Theresa with Special Occasions Alterations and she recommended Pat Scioli. Boy am I glad she did. The first thing I recognized about Pat is his respect towards people. I have a pair of pants where the outer leg seam started to unravel. When I brought it in, Pat recognized it could be fixed ins matter of minutes. No upscale of additional charges just an honest businessman. He and his wife Anna work together. I did not need it right away and was in a hurry. I left the pants without even getting a ticket. I thought I would return the following day, but could not. Anna remembered who I was from over the phone. She said it was not a problem if I picked the pants up the following day. Upon my arrival Anna brought the pants out and they were, to my surprise pressed. Pat walked in and further introduced his work for the community. He made a suit for Andy Reed and other Philadelphia Eagle players and couches. He recognized something in me and asked for my name and number. Thanks Pat, you're a great example to all in the community. I will do business with you again. Take care of yourself my friend.

Willis Kuelthau

I'm no expert in tailors, but Pat and Anna do quality work. I always feel taken care of here. The attention to detail is impressive, whether it's a big job like modifying a jacket or something small like replacing a zipper. They're also lovely people.

Alvian Salim

Really nice people.

While I inquired on logistics for a dress alteration, the owners gossiped in their native language in my presence and where dismissive. They exhibited the worst professional conduct I have experienced. I would not recommend this business.

Constance Sekaros

I've had many experiences with the work of Pat Scioli over the 27 years I've lived in South Philly. He made a very old leather jacket look like new by restoring the shoulder pads, adding new beautiful buttons, and repairing the jacket here and there. When I took him a 3/4-length trench coat with a removable wool lining (also very old--about 30 years) he restored it so that I am happy to still wear it about 18 years after he worked on it. You should also know that he makes custom-made suits for his many customers; when you walk into the store, you see rows of suits. One more thing is worth mentioning: his prices are very reasonable and he will not try to get you to do more than you want to your garment. I hope he will continue to work for many years so I and others can benefit from such quality craftsmanship! There are tailors and tailors, but Pasquale (Pat) is the real deal!

This place is great for creating all things custom! They love to help you collaborate in the designs process, and were especially patient when I was indecisive! They wonderfully captured what I had imagined and put it on a shirt!! Also they are great at turning around quick jobs!!!

Billy Bianco

Pat is old school I love that, he takes pride in his work and delivers craftsmanship that is hard to find today he is a gem.

I only wish I had discovered them 20 years earlier. You can't find tailors like this husband and wife team anymore.
